- Mutianyu Great Wall - Guests will be picked up from their Beijing hotel, and it takes approximately 1.5 hours to reach the Wall from downtown Beijing. The Great Wall at Mutianyu is slightly farther from Beijing than the more popular Badaling section, but it is less crowded. This part of the Wall is fully restored, featuring handrails to assist on the steeper sections, and offers breathtaking views.
- Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling) - Following the Great Wall visit, the tour proceeds to the Ming Tombs. Three sections are open to the public: the Sacred Way, Changling Tomb, and Dingling Tomb. The Sacred Way is the first attraction of the Ming Tombs, serving as the main path leading to the thirteen imperial tombs within the scenic area. The two rows of lifelike stone sculptures (12 animals and 6 officials) on either side are a highlight of the Sacred Way and are very popular with visitors. Among the Ming Tombs, Changling is the largest, earliest, and most magnificent, with the best-preserved structures. Dingling is the only tomb where the underground palace has been excavated. Visitors can choose to explore one of these based on their interests. After completing the tour of the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs, guests will be transported back to their hotel.

Wonderful trip to Great Wall - Wonderful trip! We wanted to go a little later, but Jenny offered us an early departure to avoid the crowds. We agreed, and it was a great choice. Our driver, Ken, arrived right at the hotel on time, drove us comfortably almost to the cable car, and helped us buy cable car tickets while the way there. We climbed the wall at our leisure, shoot a lot of photos, and then leisurely returned. The whole time Ken patiently waited for us at the exit. The end of the trip was really surprised, because of Ken gave us a lovely gift! Surely recommend for travel!

Highly recommended! - Today 06-04-2026 a private day tour made with guide Chrystal and driver Chang to the great wall Mutianyu and the Ming tombs. After we were picked up we went through the daily schedule to avoid misunderstandings, on the way and on location we received a lot of information. We were also regularly asked if we needed to take a picture of ourselves, if we wanted to eat or drink somewhere, the tickets were also bought for us and we were quickly everywhere. Our guide also went upstairs on the wall where we received some information and then got ample free time to discover the impressive wall and beautiful surroundings on our own. Thanks for the good and friendly service and the unforgettable day!

Spectacular Ming tombs Great Wall experience - We enjoyed our tour to the Great Wall and Ming Tombs with Lili our guide. Lili suggested we do the Ming Tombs in the morning as the wall would be very busy that morning. It was a good suggestion as the tombs were quiet and it was a pleasure not to be jostled by huge crowds.
The Ming tombs are well worth seeing and Lili was very informative about all the Emperors buried at the site. Being able to go into one of the tombs and actually see what was discovered was amazing.
After lunch we drove to the Great Wall ,until you actually see it in person it’s hard to explain how impressive it is. No matter when you go
or which part of the wall you visit be prepared for large crowds. Other than that it’s one of those once in a lifetime experiences.

Amazing Tour - Susan was an amazing guide. She ensured we had a great time, showing us all of the best spots and providing us with lots of historical knowledge. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!! Susan and the driver were on time and made every transition seamless throughout the experience.

We had an absolutely... - We had an absolutely fantastic tour with Jessica! We saw both the Great Wall and the Ming era tombs (both sites). Jessica is a wealth of knowledge and a joy to spend the day with. Highly recommend this tour!
