- Mutianyu Great Wall - Mutianyu (Chinese: 慕田峪; pinyin: Mùtiányù) is a section of the Great Wall of China located in Huairou County, 75 km northeast of central Beijing. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, the Mutianyu section served as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. First built in the mid-6th century during the Northern Qi, the Mutianyu Great Wall is older than the Badaling section. During the Ming dynasty, under General Xu Da’s supervision, the current wall was constructed on the foundation of the Northern Qi wall. In 1404, a pass was built in the wall, and in 1569, the Mutianyu Great Wall was rebuilt. Today, most parts of it remain well-preserved. The Mutianyu Great Wall boasts the largest construction scale and best quality among all sections of the Great Wall. Built mainly with granite, the wall stands 7–8.5 meters high and 4–5 meters wide at the top. Compared to other sections, the Mutianyu Great Wall has unique construction characteristics.

Driver very punctual and... - Driver very punctual and courteous. He bought for us the tickets by sending us the images of the qrcodes necessary to take the cable car and the sledge for the descent. For other access points, simply show the passport that is combined with the ticket. The driver speaks excellent English and we were able to understand his directions perfectly. If you don't want to stress out about getting to the wall, I recommend it.

Fine English private driver expertise - It was perfect. The driver was in the hotel lobby in time, we arrived to the Great Wall as scheduled. He waited for us, he gave us details and advices. He even came along to help us get out get our postcard tickets from the counter, as the lady there was not speaking English.
His language skills are good, he understood everything and responded to our questions very comprehensive.

Perfect - Very good communication with the driver Ge Yong. The day before he proposed us to help booking the tickets. He pick us up at the agreed time. He was also very helpful to get through the controls of tickets, cable car, … And very friendly and flexible. I would definitely recommend and choose him again.
