The Great Wall at Mutianyu is situated in the Huairou District, 70 kilometers (43 miles) northeast of Beijing city. It is one of the best-preserved and most renowned sections of the Great Wall, offering stunning scenery with fewer tourists. Upon arrival, your tour guide will purchase the tickets for you. You can choose to take the cable car up and down or the chairlift up and toboggan down. After enjoying a leisurely 2-3 hour hiking experience on the Great Wall of China, you will stop for a delicious dumpling lunch at a local restaurant, sampling various kinds of dumplings, dishes, and a bottle of cold beer or beverage.
