This section is renowned for its stunning surroundings, featuring dense forests and lush pastures that change colors with the seasons. Located in Huai Rou County, northeast of Beijing, the Mutianyu Great Wall is approximately 75 km from Beijing’s center. As one of the best-preserved sections of the Great Wall, it historically served as the northern defense for the capital and the imperial tombs. Visitors can take a cable car to ascend the Great Wall, choose to hike to the peak, or simply enjoy the breathtaking views. Descending by cable car or toboggan adds an element of fun. Finally, guests are transferred back to their hotel.
