- Beijing South Railway Station - In the morning, your friendly guide will meet you in your hotel lobby in Beijing and then head to the Beijing South Railway Station to catch your 9:30am train to Tianjin. - Five Great Avenues - Upon arrival, take your private vehicle and head up to Five Great Avenues, and have a short walk. You will see many historical buildings there. It also called the World Building Exhibition, which dates back to the late Qing Dynasty,about 100 years ago. Your guide will share with how the city was a like during British Colony time and the influx of westerners littering the area brought interesting takes on Gothic,Baroque and Renaissance architecture.
Lunch is around 12:00pm at a local Chinese restaurant.
- Porcelain House - In the afternoon, visit the Porcelain House, a French-style building embellished by porcelain, an unique museum in the world. Standing before the house, tourists will be amazed by the colorful chinaware cemented onto the wall. The windows, doors, pillars, eaves and roofs are all exquisitely decorated with different chinaware. Moreover, tourists will find beautiful porcelain decorations on the handrails, ceilings, and walls inside the house. The house is so extraordinary that it has no parallel in the world.
- Ancient Culture Street (Gu Wenhua Jie) - Last place is the Ancient Street, where you will see its classic cultural features, take home various folk crafts, and taste the delicious local Tianjin snacks.
