The Longqing Gorge Ice and Snow Festival runs from mid-January to the end of February. It features over 400 ice sculptures crafted by both Chinese and international artists, with a new theme each year. When lit up at night, these dazzling sculptures offer a spectacular visual display. The surrounding mountains are also illuminated, providing a stunning backdrop to the winter wonderland in the central basin. In addition to the ice sculptures, there are fireworks displays, folk dancing, and ethnic minority songs performed on the main stage. Visitors can try ice-fishing, tobogganing, ice slides, skating, or various other ice and snow activities. There’s also a life-sized ice maze to explore.
