- Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - The driver will meet guests at 9:00 am in the hotel lobby. They will then be dropped off at the East Gate of the Forbidden City. Visitors can explore the 600-year-old palace, known as the Forbidden City-The Palace Museum. As the largest Imperial Palace in the world, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site and served as the Royal Palace for 24 emperors from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Guests can discover the Hall of Great Supremacy (Taihe Dian), Hall of Middle Harmony (Zhonghe Dian), Hall of Preserving Harmony (Baohedian), Palace of Heavenly Purity, Chuxiu Palace, Turret of The Palace Museum, The Imperial Garden of The Palace Museum, and Meridian Gate (Wumen). It is recommended to watch “The Last Emperor” movie before visiting Beijing. The tour lasts about 2 hours, during which the guide will share numerous historical stories. Visitors can explore the Palace at their own pace. The driver will meet them at the North Gate of the Forbidden City at 12:00 pm.
- Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - Enjoy a delicious Beijing-style lunch before visiting the Summer Palace in the afternoon. The driver will pick up guests from the East Gate of the Summer Palace at 4:30 pm. At the end of the tour, the driver will return guests to their downtown Beijing hotel.
