• Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - Tiananmen Square is the largest city center square globally. It is named after the Tiananmen Gate (Gate of Heavenly Peace) to its North, which separates it from the Forbidden City. The square holds significant cultural importance as the site of several key events in Chinese history.
• Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - The Forbidden City served as the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. Situated in the heart of Beijing, it was the residence of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political hub of the Chinese government for nearly 600 years.
• Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - After enjoying an authentic Chinese lunch, guests will proceed to the Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved of the remaining imperial gardens. Once a summer retreat for emperors, this 716-acre park remains a haven for tourists, offering relaxation or a leisurely stroll around ancient pavilions, mansions, temples, bridges, and a vast lake, with occasional stops at shops or tea-houses. The beautifully landscaped gardens, halls, pavilions, and corridors are harmoniously set around the lake and rivers, cherished as a summer retreat by the Imperial families.
