An English-speaking driver will collect you from your centrally located Beijing hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and transport you directly to the entrance. Mutianyu is renowned for its breathtaking mountain vistas and is less crowded than other sections. Upon arrival, you can explore the wall at your leisure (self-guided). Your driver will remain in the parking area and return you to your hotel after your visit.
- Your driver will usually prepare free bananas and chocolate for anyone departing before 7:30 AM. If you have any special requests, feel free to let us know in advance!
- During Chinese holidays periods and special events in Beijing city, tour departure time(6:30 AM) might be earlier
- This private Great Wall tour is very flexible. You can choose to end your trip at other popular attractions such as the Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, or Tiananmen Square.

Amazing guide and driver - Joe was a great driver and very knowledgable. He had great recommendations and was very friendly. We enjoyed our trip to the Great Wall.

Perfect, very organised. - Mark was very punctual and organised. I was emailed the day before with joining instructions as well so meeting him early on the morning was very easy. He brought some snacks and water in the car with him which was a nice addition. He also purchased us the lift tickets which we didnt know we needed at Mutianyu as the walk was quite long for the time we had to get up to the wall. If I were to visit other areas of the wall I would definitely call him again.

Fantastic Experience – Highly Recommend Mark - Mark Ma is an excellent person and very friendly. He was very punctual when picking us up from the airport and always treated us in a warm and gentle way. During the trip, he offered us water and snacks and recommended the best section of the Great Wall to visit. Highly recommended! If you want to truly experience the Great Wall of China, definitely contact Mark.

Mutianyu Great Wall of China - Sofia as tour guide is excellent. Super knowledgeable and kind and we had a wonderful time at Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. Driver is also great and very safe, we recommend a lot!!

Nice visit to the Great Wall - Thank you Mark for the nice trip to the Great wall. After a short 5min cable cart ride, we walked for about 1.5h on the wall. The views were great.

We are truly happy that we chose Mark Guide Driver! - We had a wonderful experience with Mark Guide Driver.
They picked us up directly from Daxing Airport and drove us straight to the Mutianyu Great Wall. We were even able to skip the shuttle bus station because there is convenient parking inside the Mutianyu Great Wall village, very close to the entrance.
The guide shared a lot of history, showed us the best photo spots, and recommended a great local restaurant near the Great Wall — the food was really delicious. Other tourists can easily find this information in the reviews as well.
The next day, we visited the Forbidden City with our guide. He explained the history in a very interesting way, making the whole experience unforgettable. After that, we went shopping at one of Beijing’s local markets, where we bought souvenirs and sweets at very affordable prices. It was fun and very budget-friendly.
Overall, it was a perfect trip filled with history, good food, and great service.
We are truly happy that we chose Mark Guide Driver!

Wonderful Mutianyu Great Wall Experience with Mark - We had a wonderful trip to the Mutianyu Great Wall thanks to Mark. He was very thoughtful and came prepared with fruits and drinks for our early start. When we arrived, Mark made sure we knew how to explore comfortably on our own and made us feel well taken care of throughout the journey. Highly recommend him to anyone planning a trip to the Great Wall!
