BEST PUB IN WOLRD - The Great Wall of China is one of those places that somehow lives up to the hype—and then quietly exceeds it. Stretching across mountains, deserts, and history itself, it feels less like a single monument and more like a conversation with the past. Walking along the Wall, you’re struck not just by its immense scale, but by the human effort behind every stone. It’s awe-inspiring in a way that sneaks up on you: one moment you’re admiring the view, the next you’re imagining soldiers, builders, and dynasties that shaped it over centuries. What really makes the Great Wall unforgettable is how it blends raw power with quiet beauty. In some sections it’s rugged and worn, almost melting back into the landscape; in others it stands proudly restored, winding over hills like a stone dragon. It’s not a polished, museum-perfect attraction—and that’s exactly the point. The Wall feels real, weathered, and alive with stories. Visiting it isn’t just sightseeing; it’s an experience that leaves you humbled, reflective, and genuinely impressed by what humans can build when time, purpose, and determination collide.

Great Wall of China - Badaling Great Wall: The most classic section with the best accessibility (high-speed train direct), complete facilities. Ideal for first-time visitors prioritizing convenience to quickly experience the Great Wall's grandeur. Mutianyu Great Wall: Boasts stunning scenery and high vegetation coverage, with multiple cable car/ropeway options. Fewer tourists than Badaling, suitable for families and those seeking a comfortable experience. Its night view is also distinctive. Jiankou Great Wall: An unrestored "wild Great Wall" with precipitous and magnificent original features. Perfect for hikers and travelers pursuing niche experiences (stay safe and travel in groups). Simatai Great Wall: Well-preserved ancient appearance, connected to Gubei Water Town. Offers a unique "Great Wall + water town" combination with brilliant night views. Ideal for visitors wanting to balance natural scenery and cultural experiences.

Best Tour Guide ( Bruce Lee) - Bruce Lee was an exceptional tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, well-organized, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience, answered every question, and kept the tour engaging the whole time. This tour wouldn’t have been the same without him — highly recommended!

Tour with shopping stops - It was a nice tour planned with a knowledgable, helpful and polite tour guide ‘Michael Ren’. However, the downside was the shopping stops I never requested for. Although it was sugar coated with free no obligation presentations but in fact they were shopping traps for higher price items. Especially the tea house items quality were poor, faulty and not worthy the price although presented with so to say exceptional discounts.
