- Lama Temple (Yonghegong) - An English-speaking private driver will collect guests from their hotel and proceed to the Lama Temple, also known as the Harmony and Peace Palace Lamasery, Yonghe Lamasery, or Yonghe Lama Temple. Situated in the northeast corner of Beijing City, it is recognized as the largest and most well-preserved lamasery in modern-day China.
- Temple of Confucius and Guozijian Museum - Located just a five-minute walk from the Lama Temple, the Temple of Confucius in Beijing was originally constructed in 1302, with expansions during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Covering an area of 5.4 acres (22,000 square meters), it is the second-largest temple dedicated to Confucius, the renowned ancient Chinese thinker and educator, surpassed only by the Temple of Confucius in Qufu, Shandong Province.
- Back Lakes (Hou Hai) - The tour continues to Back Lakes (Hutong area), a large artificial lake in northern downtown Beijing, spanning 87 acres (34 hectares). Visitors can enjoy boating in the summer and ice skating in the winter. The area is popular with both international tourists and local youth, featuring numerous bars, cafes, teahouses, and restaurants. Additionally, the nearby Hutongs and the courtyards of former court officials and celebrities are worth exploring.
- Beihai Park (Beihai Gongyuan) - Before exploring Beihai Park, guests may wish to have lunch, and the driver can recommend a restaurant based on their preferences. Beihai Park, also known as Northern Sea Park, is one of China’s oldest, largest, and best-preserved ancient imperial gardens, located in the heart of Beijing. With a history spanning over 1,000 years, this ancient garden beautifully combines the grandeur of northern gardens with the elegance of southern gardens in China, and seamlessly integrates magnificent imperial palaces with solemn religious structures.
- Beijing - At the conclusion of the self-guided tour, the private driver will return guests to their hotel.
