Wonderful day with Cathy at the Ming Tombs and the National Museum! - It was a wonderful trip! Our guide Cathy was very cheerful and lively! She was very knowledgeable, provided many information on the history of China and was able to answer our questions. She managed to help us skip queues legally, which saved a lot of time! Cathy also arranged a wonderful lunch for us, with the local crusines. We were happy with the lunch! Cathy compared the architecture of the Ming tombs with those in the Imperial Palace and we can see the similarities. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and thanks to Cathy very much!

“Beijing Private Tour: National Museum of China, Sacred Road and Ming Tombs” - **Travel Review “Beijing Private Tour: National Museum of China, Sacred Road and Ming Tombs” is a stunning journey deep into China’s history with Cathy Agency and English-language guide Mike! The National Museum was impressive – the scale of the exhibit, the organization of the halls and countless artifacts spanning millennia of Chinese civilization. 3-4 hours are planned to see the museum, so decide in advance where you are going! The next item on the program was lunch at an authentic Chinese restaurant, where a very delicious Beijing mouth and other national snacks were prepared. The trip to the Holy Road and the Ming Dynasty tombs became a true time trip. The atmosphere of antiquity, the monumental statues, the harmony of architecture and nature all produce a sense of peace and grandeur. I would like to pay special tribute to our tour guide, Mike, who is erudite, attentive and genuinely passionate about his country. He filled the trip with lively stories, historical details and personal observations that brought every moment to life before his eyes. Many thanks also go to Agency Director Katie for her perfect route organization, punctuality, comfort and attention to all details. Everything was structured with clarity, care and professionalism. In addition, Katie took care of us and helped organize visits to many other museums in Beijing. The National Museum was a huge highlight, with its vast exhibits, well-organized halls, and countless artifacts spanning thousands of years of Chinese civilization. The tour included at least 3-4 hours of museum exploration. After the museum, we had lunch at an authentic Chinese restaurant, where we enjoyed delicious Peking duck and other traditional Chinese dishes. Everything was hearty and very tasty, so this lunch will be remembered for a long time! After that, we went to the Sacred Road and the tombs of the Ming Dynasty. The atmosphere of antiquity, the monumental statues, and the harmony of architecture and nature all create a sense of peace and grandeur. The tomb itself is impressive in scale and symbolism, and it's hard to imagine the amount of effort and creativity that went into creating this complex. I would also like to mention our guide, Mike, who was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and knowledgeable. We really appretiate!!!

Amazing tour and Delicious food! - Thanks so much to Alice (out guide) and Mr. Zhang (our drive) for the amazing tour the National Museum and Ming Tumbs. They arrived perfectly in time at the hotel and took us directly to the Museum. Alice not only showed us masterpieces, and teached us about the history of China, its flags along the time, you also took me to some particular ones, I have interest. Later we have a great chinese lunch with duck, tea, rice, noodles, pork, breathtaking! Finally, we visited the Ming tombs, nice place, peacefully and fresh. The y also gifted us souvenir! Excellent day out at the Ming Tombs with exceptional guide 👍 - Had an excellent tour with Cathy today. In the early morning we started our tour at the National Museum where Cathy gave excellent explanation of the vast collection of the museum. We saw many of the national treasures and we entered the museums within 10 minutest. The exhibits do not have many English descriptions so coming with a knowledgeable guide is a must. For lunch, Cathy showed me how to eat Peking Duck the local authentic restaurant, the duck was delicious and the best I’ve had! The weather was lovely so after lunch we went to the Sacred Road and saw many of the different animals. Cathy took excellent photos for me and told enthralling stories The Ming tombs are very impressive and well worth a visit to! They have excellent artefacts and the carvings are stunning in the tombs museums. The driver was also friendly and efficient. Cathy was exceptionally professional and has outstanding knowledge. Highly recommended this tour!

Awesome booking service and museum, watch out for transportation - Jennifer was friendly and prompt as a guide for us family of three. We decided to visit the China national museum last min (literally the day before) and used this service, and they were still able to procure the tickets for us. Of note, many of Beijing sights now require booking like a week ahead.... honestly an uninviting way for international tourists but oh well. The museum is a must see for history buffs and honestly half a day isn't enough at all. Jennifer contacted us the night before (you will need wechat ID) for easier communications. We met up outside the museum. Of note, it's absolutely nuts to try to get there by taxi or didi since they can't drop you off in front of the museum. I would recommend taking the subway as the exit comes out right in front of its south gate. Jennifer was very patient in taking us through the exhibit and helped watch our kiddo as well. Overall the museum is awesome, just gotta get ready for super close contact with many many people. XD would consider their service again in future, esp if need help acquiring booking tickets.

A great day - We love museums and the National Museum is wonderful. We were only able to rush through one floor of the gorgeous building in the 4 hours we had for this part of the tour. The Ming tombs are interesting as an historical site, but there was little to see. We thought we might be able to see artifacts or visit inside, but it was all outside walking to/around the site. So, our primary takeaway - if you like museums, you can easily spend a whole day at the National Museum. Our guide Diana was wonderful. Her cheerful and attentive attitude made the whole day enjoyable. She was a great guide and really knew her way around the museum and sites.

They provided insightful commentary on the exhibits, making the vast collection more accessible and engaging. The guide's ability to contextualize artifacts within the broader narrative of Chinese history significantly enhanced our understanding and appreciation of the exhibits.
