A perfect morning in Beijing - Kelly was an excellent guide. She provided us with plenty of different types of Beijing food and the story behind them as well as lots of other insights into Beijing life. A perfect amount of walking in between eating!

Delicious Beijing food - Yoyo was an amazing and kind guide, bringing the group to delicious local places. She was so helpful and answered any questions and also provided advice on other things to do in Beijing. As a solo traveler it was nice to be involved in a group tour and eat food I probably wouldn’t have found on my own. Thank you Yoyo!

Winding through alleys with Winnie - We had a great time on our breakfast tour. Winnie was excellent with our kids and we tried so many amazing foods for the first time. She even arranged for a birthday cake for our son at the last stop. Amazing!

Fantastic way to explore the Chinese food culture - Right from the start, our guide Kelly was fantastic. Super friendly, very knowledgeable and even gave some some extra tips and tricks for our trip around the country. The tour itself was very well rounded with tones of different food and different locations from restaurant to hole in the wall and even a farmer's market. We highly recommend this experience.

Hidden Culinary Adventure in the Hutongs - Come hungry, this is a lengthy food tour with 5 super unique stops and a rich historical connotation associated with each. Grace was a phenomenal guide leading us through a wet market and several of the old hutongs in Beijing. I really enjoyed everything during the tour, and my only regret is not writing down more of the dish names. I'm going to go home and attempt to replicate the pancake. $40 is a steal for this style of tour. Such a breadth of flavor and information.

Discovered delicious dishes and neighborhood - My first day in China started off awesome with this breakfast food tour. Discovered delicious dishes and popular local restaurants in a neighborhood I probably wouldn’t have visited. Winnie made the tour even better, super helpful tips on visiting Beijing and China. Her English is excellent, she is friendly and genuinely cares about the clients’ experience. Knowledgeable and explained the dishes, history and cooking techniques. The market visit was fun to explore, tasted some interesting items there as well. Looking forward to my next food tour with Lost Plate in Chengdu further down my trip!

Fun Hutong Breakfast - What a fun morning in the hutongs. Yoyo was a great guide for our adventure. The tour took us all around the community, stopping at a Michelin rated restaurant to a secret off the books business, with everything in between. All of the foods were from small businesses serving traditional foods. Most of the locations had lines, showing they were local favorites. Yoyo prearranged everything so we did not have to wait. This is my third Lost Plate tour, all have been fantastic. Portland, Xi'an, Beijing. Thank you for another great experience.
