This section is less crowded and offers breathtaking views. A round-trip cable car will take visitors to the best vantage point, where they can enjoy the views and take a chairlift up or experience a toboggan slide down. The guide will share detailed historical stories and accompany visitors on the climb.

Hutong Tour - Visit the best Hutong alley area, an old city with authentic charm. Enjoy a rickshaw ride through the Hou Hai lake area, see the old Beijing area, and stop to visit a local courtyard family to learn about their life, including birdcages, pomegranate trees, and fish ponds, rich with Chinese culture. Excellent 2-Day Beijing Tour with Lisa – Couldn’t Have Asked for More - We just finished a 2-day private tour of Beijing with Lisa and she was absolutely outstanding. We wanted to see all the major sites in a short time and Lisa made it happen without ever feeling rushed. Day 1: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, with a hutong rickshaw ride. We had an amazing lunch of Peking duck and many additional dishes, followed by an impromptu acrobatic show she suggested that was outstanding! Day 2: Mutianyu Great Wall and Summer Palace. What made Lisa exceptional: 1. Knowledge + Storytelling: Lisa didn’t just recite dates. She brought the Forbidden City to life with stories about emperors, concubines, and court politics that you’d never get from a guidebook. At the Great Wall, she knew the nicest sections for photos and took many pictures and videos of me and my family and Airdropped them to us for forever memories. 2. Flawless Logistics: Beijing is huge Lisa handled all tickets, timed our entries to dodge tour buses, and had an excellent driver waiting every time we stepped out. We never waited in a single line. 3. Genuine Care: From carrying extra tissue paper, sharing her personal phone charger, to giving my son a gift of mints she had offered that he really liked — Lisa treated us like family. Her English is perfect and she has a great sense of humor. You can tell she genuinely loves showing people her city. By the end of day 2 we felt like we’d seen the best of Beijing’s 800 years of history, but also got a real sense of modern local life. Lisa’s energy and professionalism were 10/10. If you only have 2 days in Beijing, book Lisa. If you have 5 days, book Lisa. Highlights: Forbidden City deep-dive, Day 1 lunch, Acrobatic show. Guide: Lisa – request her specifically. Fully packed fun filled 2 days visit of Beijing - Amazing memories made with Jessie on 2 days during our trip to Beijing. Jessie was full of energy. She ensured our 2 little kids enjoyed every bit of the tour. We had delicious food , exclusive experiences and a super comfortable ride . Jessi was patient , highly knowledgeable . She is highly proficient in English and knows lot of stories about Beijing history . I highly Recommend the tour with Jessie.

Happy Beijing tour - Our Beijing tour was made unforgettable thanks to Judy, our exceptional guide. She was meticulous, caring, and ensured that our needs were always taken care of. The tour was tailored to our pace, and Judy's fluency in English made it easy for her to explain the sights and attractions. Judy's extensive knowledge of the area's attractions was impressive, and as a local, she was able to provide valuable insights that enhanced our visit. Outstanding Beijing Tour with an Incredible Guide—Cathy! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Our time in Beijing was truly exceptional, and it was all thanks to our incredible guide, Cathy. From the very beginning, Cathy’s organization and attention to detail stood out—every moment of our itinerary flowed seamlessly! Cathy has a tremendous depth of expertise and was so kind to share it while we were driving between locations, and the kids really enjoyed her humor, riddles and mythology. Over the course of our tour, Cathy brought each location to life with her deep knowledge of Chinese history and culture. Whether we were exploring Tiananmen Square, walking through the breathtaking Forbidden City, or learning about traditional life in the hutongs, Cathy’s storytelling added so much richness and meaning to every stop. What really set Cathy apart was how she made us feel like VIPs the entire time. She knew exactly how to navigate the crowds, which entrances to use, and how to maximize our time at each site—saving us hours and allowing us to focus on enjoying the experience instead of waiting in lines. Our visit to the Temple of Heaven and the Chinese acrobatic show were fantastic highlights, and the Great Wall experience was absolutely unforgettable. Beyond her expertise, Cathy’s warmth and hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, informed, and having a great time at every moment. Excellent tour. - The service from the guide Clara was excellent; it was very fun, and she explained a lot about Chinese culture, and we also learned about the places we visited. The food was very good. The driver's service was very good, always on time and driving very safely.

Great experience for young families - Travelling with 3 young kids can be challenging, but this tour made everything so easy and enjoyable for us. Mr. Zhang and our guide Jessie were incredibly professional, always on time, and so accommodating. Jessie’s English was excellent, and she was amazing with our kids (ages 9, 6, and 4). She adjusted the pace perfectly for young families — no rushing, just lots of patience and understanding. The food over both days was fantastic, and the kids genuinely loved every meal. Jessie also kept them engaged with stories and explanations they could actually understand, which made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend this tour for families with young kids — Jessie truly made the experience special for us!

Great Tour for Couples - Christina and our driver were so amazing during our Beijing! Both days were experiences we will not forget, accompanied by lots of learning and excellent food! Christina was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Her English is excellent and she made our tours memorable, interesting, and very funny. Our driver was extremely punctual and showed up exactly when we needed to (along with a much needed supply of water). The lunches both days were also very enjoyable and it was great to get a taste of the local food. Would highly recommend taking Christina’s tour if you are in Beijing and interested in learning about the amazing cultural sites!

An Unforgettable Journey in Beijing and Great Wall - Our tour in Beijing and Great Wall was amazing and a massive part of that was thanks to our incredible guide Jessie. She impressed us with her high level of professionalism, deep knowledge, and fantastic storytelling. She didn't just give us facts and dates - she brought China’s rich history and culture to life with engaging and captivating stories. Aside from being an expert guide, Jessie is incredibly chatty, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Her warm personality made us feel comfortable immediately. The entire itinerary was a wonderful program, executed with perfect efficiency and great planning. We never felt rushed, yet we managed to see and do so much. The excellent teamwork between Jessie and our driver ensured smooth transitions, zero stress, and perfect timing throughout the whole trip. We had so much fun and at the same time, learned an immense amount about China. This trip was so memorable! Highly recommended!
