Tiananmen Square-Forbidden City-Great Wall of China (L):

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - In the morning, guests will be picked up from their hotel lobby. The tour begins at Tiananmen Square, where visitors can view The Great Hall of the People, also referred to as the “White House” of China. The National Museum is located on the east side of the square. In the center, Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum can be seen.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - From Tiananmen Gate, visitors can walk directly to the Forbidden City, the largest imperial palace complex in the world. With a history spanning over 600 years, it boasts approximately 9,999 rooms and was the residence of 24 successive emperors from the Ming to the Qing Dynasty. Guests will spend several hours exploring its most magnificent and historically significant halls and courtyards.

Mutianyu Great Wall - During lunch, the guide will take guests to a local buffet restaurant to enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine. In the afternoon, the tour continues to the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

The guide will lead visitors to a serene, less crowded section for a two-hour hike. The journey from central Beijing to the Great Wall takes about 1.5 hours.

Guests will take a chairlift halfway up before beginning their hike. For the descent, they can choose between the chairlift or an exciting toboggan slide for added fun, saving both time and energy. Please note: the toboggan is not available for visitors aged 60 and above, who may opt for the round-trip cable car instead.

At the end of the tour, the driver and guide will ensure a comfortable return to the hotel.

Panda House-Summer Palace-Old Hutongs-Temple of Heaven (L):

Beijing - Guests will meet their friendly private guide at their hotel or a designated meeting point at the scheduled departure time. The tour begins at the Panda House in Xicheng District, where visitors can observe the charming giant pandas up close, especially during their breakfast in the morning.

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - Next, the knowledgeable guide will lead a fascinating tour of the Summer Palace, once the splendid imperial garden of the Chinese royal family. With over 3,000 rooms, this expansive complex is filled with exquisite pavilions, graceful bridges, iconic long corridors, and ancient temples. As guests stroll through, the guide will share vivid stories and historical insights, bringing this royal retreat to life.

Wudaoying Hutong - After enjoying a delicious local lunch at a buffet or a traditional Beijing restaurant, the guide will take guests on a delightful walk through the old Beijing Hutongs in the afternoon. Wander along the narrow, winding lanes lined with classic courtyard houses, experience the authentic rhythm of old Beijing life, and listen to the guide share interesting stories and customs behind these century-old alleys. This offers a truly immersive and unforgettable experience of real Beijing.

Temple of Heaven - The visit continues to the Temple of Heaven, once a sacred site where ancient emperors held grand ceremonies to worship Heaven and pray for good harvests. Besides its magnificent ancient architecture, guests will also witness lively daily scenes in the surrounding park, with locals practicing tai chi, singing, dancing, and enjoying leisure activities.

If the Temple of Heaven is closed on Mondays, the tour will visit Yonghegong (Lama Temple) instead. As a renowned Tibetan Buddhist temple with a long history, it features splendid halls, exquisite Buddha statues, and a strong religious atmosphere, offering a unique glimpse into Beijing’s Buddhist culture.

Red Theater Acrobatic Show Official - In the evening, guests will enjoy the world-famous Peking duck dinner, accompanied by a spectacular acrobatic show at the Red Theater (included if the Deluxe Tour Package is selected).
