• Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - The tour guide will meet the group at the Starbucks in Terminal 3 of the Capital Airport as previously arranged, and then proceed by private car to Tian’anmen Square, situated in the heart of Beijing. Tian’anmen Square is home to the most important buildings that showcase China’s historical evolution over the past century. The Great Hall of the People is located here. The Chairman Mao Memorial Hall reflects the Chinese people’s profound respect and remembrance for their great leader. On the east side of the square is the National Museum of Chinese History, and on the north side is the Tian’anmen Rostrum, originally constructed 600 years ago during the Ming Dynasty. After exploring the exterior of Tian’anmen Square, the group will enjoy a meal featuring Beijing’s most renowned local dish - Beijing Roast Duck. The authentic flavor of the roast duck in Beijing is unmatched. Local beer is also an option.
• Dashilan - Following a satisfying meal, take a leisurely walk through the narrow yet lively Beijing Hutongs on the historic Qianmen Street. The word “Hutong” is derived from the Mongolian language. For centuries, the diligent and hospitable residents of Beijing have lived in these traditional homes. On the return journey to the airport, the private car will pass through the Beijing CBD area, a testament to China’s 40 years of reform, opening up to the world, and rapid economic growth. Here stands Beijing’s tallest building, reaching 528 meters with a total of 108 floors. When illuminated at night, a vibrant scene unfolds.
