Leifeng Pagoda - Built in 976 AD on the southern bank of the famous West Lake, Leifeng Pagoda collapsed in 1924 due to the removal of “lucky” bricks. Rebuilt in 2002, it is an octagonal, five-story structure made of brick and wood, with a 1,400-tonne reinforced steel structure and 200 tonnes of copper parts. This pagoda is one of the “Ten Scenes of the West Lake” and looks magnificent at sunset from across the lake.

Former Residence of Xueyan Hu - Located in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, the Former Residence of Hu Xueyan was built in 1872 during Emperor Tongzhi’s reign in the Qing Dynasty. It covers an area of 10.8 mu (one mu equals 0.7 ha) and has a floor space of 5,815 sq m.

Xixi Wetland Park - Situated in western Hangzhou, less than 5 km (3 miles) from West Lake, Xixi National Wetland Park is a rare urban wetland.
