Beijing - Qufu (L)

Beijing South Railway Station - The driver will transport you from your hotel to the Train Station. Board the morning train to Qufu, which takes approximately 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, meet your welcoming local tour guide and proceed directly to the Temple of Confucius.

Confucius Temple - The Temple of Confucius, initially constructed in 478 BC, was built to honor Confucius. The temple’s design follows the specifications for imperial palaces.

Qufu Dacheng Hall - Wander through the halls and courtyards with your tour guide, learn about the architectural symbolism, admire the statue of Confucius, visit the stone tablets, steles, and pavilions, and explore Confucius’ life experiences along with numerous historical and cultural items related to Confucius and his culture.

Kong Mansion - Then, visit the Kong Family Mansion. The descendants of Confucius reside here and were responsible for conducting elaborate religious ceremonies for events such as plantings, harvests, honoring the deceased, and birthdays.

Kong Forest - Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant, then explore the Confucian Cemetery in the afternoon. The Confucian Cemetery has served as the family burial ground for Confucius and his descendants for over two thousand years. Approximately 3,600 tombstones from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties remain standing in the cemetery.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Qufu. (Please arrange your own hotel accommodation in Qufu)

Qufu - Tai’an - Beijing (L)

Mount Tai - Start your tour by meeting your tour guide at your Qufu hotel and proceed to the train station. Take a 20-minute bullet train ride to Tai’an Train Station.

Travel to the Taishan Tourist Center, and take the shuttle bus to the halfway point on the mountain - Mid-Heaven Gate (Zhongtianmen), which takes about 30 minutes. Then, take the panoramic cable car to the South Heaven Gate (Nantianmen), offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding peaks.

Yuhuang Top - Accompanied by your tour guide, explore the Jade Emperor Peak. Admire the stone tablets and inscriptions in the area. Visit the Jade Emperor Temple, built in honor of the Jade Emperor of Taoism.

Bixia Temple - Discover the Bixia Temple, constructed in 1008 during the Song Dynasty. It is one of the masterpieces of Taoist architecture and showcases the advanced construction techniques of ancient Chinese architecture. Gain insights into the history of Taoism in China and its influence on Chinese culture.

Beijing Railway Station - Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then your tour guide will escort you to Tai’an Railway Station for your train back to Beijing (approximately 2 hours). Upon arrival, your driver will meet you at Beijing South Railway Station and transfer you back to your hotel in Beijing City.
