Amazing! - This was a wonderful experience! Our kids loved it! We would recommend warm clothes as near the ocean can be cold.

I have visited Mont St.... - I have visited Mont St. Michel several times. On this tour with Alice, i learned so many new things that made the visit even more exciting. She is very knowledgeable and delivers the information in an engaging way. Her English is very good and I would recommend her tour.

The perfect tour when visiting Mont Saint Michel - If visiting Mont Saint Michel then this short tour with the optional abbey tickets add on is a must! Our guide was an excellent story teller, giving us an overview of the history of the Mont through the ages and the uniqueness of various aspects of the region. Since we were staying on the island for a few nights, this tour was perfect in that it gave us insight into daily life on the island and context of what we were to see in the abbey. Visiting the abbey was awesome, navigating the labyrinth of passages and stairs through the halls up to the ramparts. Note, if you struggle with stairs then this is not for you. We had an incredible time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Mont.

Tour of Mont Saint Michel - Stephanie was great explaining the history of Mont Saint Michel! We finished the tour with a self guided walk thru the Abbey.

Excellent Eva tour of Mont St. Michel. - On a recent trip to Bayeux, Normandy, to explore all the D-Day beaches and displays we did a day trip to the captivating Mont St Michel. We were fortunate to find our guide, Eva Ruttger, of visitnormandybeaches ([email protected]). Eva met us promptly in the morning and she drove us in her very comfortable car, our group was 4 adults, for the 1.5 hour drive to the island (excellent driver by the way). If you are in the area I heartily recommend to visit this fascinating site. All during the trip Eva provided interesting background. Then, when at the site, her experience helped us navigate quickly up to and through the town, and the Abbey. Even though it was October there were still large crowds. Her special knowledge really helped us. If you are not aware of Mont St Michel it is a tidal island surrounded by vast expanse of water, and at low tide it is somewhat disconcerting to see people walking across large areas of the flats. We were struck by the incredibly complicated task facing the builders to erect a huge Cathedral and Abbey on such a small parcel, and overcoming intense inclines. The stained glass if marvelous also. I highly recommend Eva and this tour. Eva is charming, articulate, and most enjoyable company.

Great opportunity to... - Great opportunity to visit the village and learn about the history of Mt St Michel. We enjoyed learning about this beautiful place and Stephanie our tour guide had vast knowledge.

Half disappointed... - Very good quality guide but visit Abbey promised not offered. Disappointment and complaint to make?

Disappointment - Originally, this is a very nice approach. Unfortunately, when two different groups of foreign languages share the same guide, you’re always waiting for it. Also, when different ages present themselves in the group, you do not do the same route because of the steps of Mont Saint Michel. For the end, not to find our guide at the famous waiting point. It could have been a very nice adventure. What a shame...

Less than 1 hour of information - Only 50% of the tour were in English so we had to wait 50% of the time. Less than 1 hour of information. Quite expensive . The guide was very friendly and knew a lot. But the agency should have send one group for each language.

Poor group logistics and wasted time - This tour does not offer good value because we paid for a 2 hour tour, but the guide took both English speakers and French speakers, so half the time was spent doing the tour in French. This is a waste of your clients’ time and not how your groups should be handled.
