Ship is nice, crew was friendly and the cruise itself was interesting and entertaining. Lunch was nothing fancy, but quite good and plenty of it.
I was very disappointed that the boat always stayed away from land. One of the members of my group was an elderly lady who could walk only short distances. I especially wanted her to see Fort Macon. I've been there many times, but as we passed, it was so far away even I couldn't recognize it. It was nice to be out on the water, but as for sightseeing, forget it!
This was my first time on a tour cruise. Everyone worked on the Crystal Coast Lady were friendly and pleasant. They were very knowledgeable. I would recommend others to take a tour on this boat. The food was excellent and the service was good. This was a great experience for me. This cruise may my birthday more special. Thank you all for a great time.
They rushed with the lunch, could have left it out a little bit longer and served it earlier. And crew was not prepared.
More than adequate serving of Delicious Food and Cleanliness and professional staff. Nicely planned for scenery and information from Capt. (speakers need more volume to offset wind) We have been on LUNCH & DINNER CRUISE with Both Excellent ! Mary & Morris P.
Although we didn't see any dolphin, we saw several horses and had a nice lunch. The ship is clean and easy to maneuver for those with mobility issues. We enjoyed the captain's commentary about the area and found it informative. The weather & scenery were awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise around Beaufort and Morehead City. I would recommend this trip to others and look forward to traveling with the Crystal Coast Lady again.
Such friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff! We saw lots of dolphins--even babies--and a herd of about 28 wild horses plus one lone bachelor! The ride was smooth and pleasant. The lunch buffet was simple but of high quality--deli ham, turkey, roast beef; variety of fresh breads; extremely delicious cole slaw; very fresh mixed green salad; cookies (could have been much better). The captain's live narration was very informative. I would definitely encourage everyone to take this tour--well worth the $27 senior fare we paid.
The boat was comfortable, inside and out. The lunch was simple, but very good. The captain and crew were very cheerful and informative. The tour went along the shoreline, and explained most things to be viewed. We saw the horses, but the dolphins did not want to show up that day.
Very peaceful trip and wonderful staff. It was difficult to see the horses and there were no dolphins that day.
Very nice staff and the lunch cruise was splendid!
We are from Ohio, last thursday we made a wrong turn and couldn't make the 1pm boat. When we called your office we were told tough luck, if you miss the sailing time there is no rescheduling, no refund. We protested vigorously and were transferred to another woman who begrudgingly reschedule. She also gave us a very stern warning that it was a one time only "accomodation" and if we missed the Friday boat we were done. Both of these women were rude and even mean You count on tourists, why beat them up when they call for help as we did. I would fire both of those two poor representatives of your company. The boat staff were great, once we got over dealing with the two witches all was well.
Great trip, awesome staff. Loved it!
The cruise was great and enjoyed by my entire party. Lunch was very tasty. The coupon available was misleading and I was disappointed in how it was applied.
Great time!! Your personnel did an outstanding job and food was very good!!
My wife just enjoys it. Captain Farmer is a super nice guy..... Always a pleasure.
We had a great time and learned a lot. Good lunch and friendly staff.
It was a lovely cruise for the most part. Staff was attentive, especially a certain male staff with the young ladies. The expectation was to possibly see dolphins on the cruise which we did not. The captain made no mention of the dolphins at any point . He hyper focused on the horses. The food was very good and there was plenty.
Even though lunch was sandwiches, add'l side items would have been nice. Tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, just to name a few. The boat ride was wonderful as was the staff.
I thought the lunch could have been a bit more diverse. Adding some fresh fruit would have been a great addition. It is summer, so fresh fruit is plentiful. Also brioche buns instead of the bread would have been nice. L
Delivered experience that matched advertising.
Excellent value for the price. Very relaxing and scenic. Enjoyed the educational guide information. Will tell my family and friends!!
There should be more speakers so we can hear who is talking. I missed a bunch of the info because I couldn't hear what was being said.
Amazing staff. Perfect trip with wonderful food. Great route allowing tourists to really see the coast.
I chose this cruise cause I thought we were going to see DOlphins so was very disappointed that we didnt. I spent the extra money so we could see them. It was a nice beautiful boat ride and they were not stingy on the food either. So only complaint is No DOlphins
It was a nice ride, but we did not go to Shackleford Banks. We saw no horses or dolphins. Disappointing. Food was good.
