Join your host and rummelier, Dameain, to learn the art of mixing rum-based cocktails. Dameain has been honored as “Mixologist of the Year” in Barbados for two years in a row! As a brand ambassador for West Indies Rum Distillery’s rums and a TV personality, Dameain is thrilled to share his love for mixology through a master class at the Pelican Bar. Interestingly, Dameain began his career in nutrition. After his shifts at the renowned Cafe Jungles in St. Lawrence Gap, he would assist at the bar, where his manager noticed his enthusiasm. Since then, he has risen to become one of the leading bartenders and mixologists in the country. Dameain also travels to the US to educate audiences about rum at various spirit festivals, making him the ideal person to connect with for those eager to learn about and savor rum! This experience includes a brief history of rum production, a rum tasting, and a mixology class complemented by local finger foods.

• Dameain hosts on Mondays and Tuesdays between 10-4:30pm where timing permits. Feel free to customize your timing directly with Dameain after you book if the 1pm or 3pm time slots don’t work for you.
