Next, the tour proceeds to the Margravial Opera House, a Baroque opera house constructed between 1744 and 1748. It is one of the few remaining theatres from that era in Europe and has undergone extensive restoration. On June 30, 2012, the opera house was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. The tour then moves to the Bayreuth Festival Theatre, one of the world’s largest opera venues, exclusively dedicated to the operas of the 19th-century German composer Richard Wagner.
The tour concludes at The Kunstmuseum Bayreuth, a must-visit for modern art enthusiasts, which opened in 1999 in Bayreuth, Bavaria, Germany. The historic rooms of the baroque former town hall host exhibitions featuring contemporary and classical modern art. The museum offers guided tours, educational events, and lectures.
