GoldBeach WWII Jeep Tour with Eric - I travelled to Normandie with my 14 yo son to see WWII historical sites and to learn. We wanted to do a Classic Jeep Tour and I definitely chose well by booking with GoldBeach. We were so fortunate to have gotten Eric as our expert guide and smooth “double-clutcher”. He gives tours but I see that WWII history - preserving this knowledge and teaching it - is his true passion. It showed through on this tour, as we drove back roads through the French countryside and he spoke of individuals and waves of men fighting there, the challenges they faced, and the overall strategy for taking the German strong holds. Eric was able to make the story come alive with the landscape. I’d recommend the afternoon tour as the sun was golden in the fields and off the memorials in the cemetery. We went to the British Cemetery as he tailored our tour based on places we wouldn’t see the next day on another tour. We were taking. However, it was this tour that was so interactive and memorable. W60 was a strong hold on Omaha that he took us to. Also unique to this tour, my son and I loved going into the tunnels and mortars there and going into the woods to check out a gun post. Eric was so personable; having discussions with him was a pleasure for me and my son.

Private Jeep Tour of Normandy - Be prepared to let the driver know what you've seen and what you would like to see. My spouse didn't bring a hair tie, which would've helped. Our driver Phillip was terrific and did a great job getting off the main roads of tourists to give us a unique experience.

The best tour I've had! - The owner gave us the tour. The tour was absolutely amazing. It was a learning experience and included an authentic jeep ride through the back roads. So much fun! 100% recommend.

A jeep, Normandy: A meeting with history - A Jeep Tour/Ride of more than 3 hours with Vincent Pilot/Guide. Clear explanations embellished with pithy anecdotes all with beautiful landscapes under a radiant sun (in Normandies it rarely rains...). Vincent is passionate and he knows how to pass on his passion, moreover he knows his region as his pocket and knows how to find the small paths that lead to incredible views. An afternoon very informative and very friendly.

This is a MUST DO experience. - Vincent arrived at our hotel to pick us up on the dot. The previous day we had visited the American landing beaches and Pointe du Hoc, followed by the American Cemetery. So our request for the Jeep tour was to visit the British landmarks. Vincent tailored our next 4 hours perfectly. The Jeep ride was incredible, as Vincent took us "off-piste" to see sights the group tours wouldn't get to. The day was glorious so the open top ride in the Jeep was fabulous. Vincent is a local and his family having suffered the German occupation had real stories to tell. He imparted lots of his knowledge to us, information that isn't in the guide books. The whole experience was utterly memorable. When we booked we knew we were spending a sizeable chunk of money but after the tour we said it was worth every penny and more. Vincent gave us real value for money and we would recommend this experience to anyone. D-Day and all the logistics in the planning came to life. Thanks for a lifetime experience Vincent.

Awesome Experience! - We did this on our first day in Normandy and it was amazing! The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a great trip. Plus riding around in an authentic Willis jeep made it even more memorable. I highly recommend you put it on your to-do list if you’re coming for a visit!

Excellent. Thank you - I booked this as a surprise for my 12 year old son who was thrilled to travel around in the jeep. Our guide, Vincent, was brilliant throughout with lots of detailed information that we would never have got had we gone on our own. Yes its expensive but a real experience. Thanks guys
