- Cimetiere Americain de Colleville-sur-Mer - The guide will lead you to the American cemetery behind Omaha Beach, the final resting place for over 9,000 American service members. Managed by the American Battle Monuments Commission, this revered site is the most visited D-Day location in Normandy.
- Pointe du Hoc - Explore the remarkable site of Pointe du Hoc. Trace the path of the 2nd US Ranger Battalion, led by the renowned Lieutenant Colonel James E. Rudder, who scaled the cliffs to dismantle a German gun battery threatening the US landing. Witness bomb craters, bunkers, and dugouts at this extraordinary battlefield.
Following the visit to Pointe du Hoc, enjoy a 30-minute drive to Sainte-Mère-Eglise.
- Sainte-Mere-Eglise - In the heart of the Airborne operation, visit the quaint town of Sainte-Mère-Eglise, the first town captured by American paratroopers. One paratrooper famously got caught on the church tower that night. The guide will share insights into this pivotal operation and the stories of these valiant men.
Depart Sainte-Mère-Eglise for a 20-minute drive to Utah Beach.
- Utah Beach - At Utah Beach, the guide will recount how the 4th Infantry Division successfully penetrated the German defenses. The first wave, led by Brigadier General Theodore Roosevelt Jr., landed at 6:30 am. He was later awarded the Medal of Honor.
Proceed with a 15-minute drive to the next destination, Angoville-au-Plain.
