So tasty!!! - The rum was delicious and the history of this company and the behind the scenes tour of the factory where it’s made and bottled is very special. The signature cocktails at the bar are excellent and the hand shaken pina colada is not to be missed!!

Authentic Local History - This was a great tour learning about the history of this San Juan family's distillery. It is no longer owned by the family, but the distillery has upheld their legacy. The tasting was also very informative. I really enjoyed the authentic experience this is.

Interesting but entertaining short tour of San Juan historic rum distillery. - Very nice tour with knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide Marjorie. Learned a lot about the history of rum distillation in San Juan.

Educational and Tasty - The tour of the grounds and factory was very informative. Octavio was a GREAT tour guide and patiently answered all of the questions we asked. He really knew his stuff!
The cocktails were amazing. Expertly crafted by the mixologists, made us want more, so we had seconds! The tasting of the four types of rum was a great way to wrap up the tour. How else would you know what a $750 bottle of rum tastes like?
We took the tour on the advice of a bartender and we’re glad we did. Happy to be fans of Ron de Barrilito. Worth a quick drive or Uber ride if you’re staying in San Juan.
The place is fairly small and tours are done hourly in groups - you don’t need Skip the Line tickets. Just sign up for a tour directly on the Ron de Barrilito site and save a few bucks.

Fantastic Host, Enjoyable Drinks - Our guide, Rogelio, was hospitable, energetic, and informational. The historical facts along the tour enhanced our experience. The tour is very brief, but the tasting was superb. This is a highly recommended expedition in Bayamón.

Amazing tour experience - Such an interesting, fun, and unique experience! Our guide Dennis was so knowledgeable and accommodating and the rum was DELICIOUS. This was one of our favorite parts of our entire Puerto Rico trip and we were so grateful that we chose this over a larger/more corporate option. Would definitely recommend!

Superior Rum Tour - Skip Bacardi and go straight to the good rum in Bayamón . Complete with a thoughtfully crafted cocktail, the rum tasting and distillery tour was an excellent choice to get out of the busy city to see the lovely estate in Bayamón. The guide was thorough and enticing, while still allowing us ample time to ask question and walk around. Suffice to say, we never felt dragged around or missing out on any information due to the smaller tour size. The proceeding rum tasting was of great value and I left excited to say I’ve tasted all their rums from 2-5 star ages.
