Great experience - Very long trip but the trip is clearly worth it. The island of saona is just superb as is the stop at the natural pool.

Go prepared, you’ll LOVE it! - This experience was fantastic, and a great value. I read the reviews and brought my own water, a change of clothes, a towel, and my headphones. My towel and headphones were really helpful on the long boat ride, I put the towel behind my back and listened to my music since the boat ride to the natural pool and Sanoa island was loud and bumpy. The drinks were plentiful and the food was good. I had a massage on the beach (expensive, but worth it). Make sure to bring some cash and sunscreen as well, you’ll have an amazing time:)

Amazing tour and tour guides - As many reviewers say there is a lot of “waiting” for the first few hours. However that is how it is and as soon as you get on the boat everything runs smoothly. The staff is really great. They really want to give you the best experience. First we were on a speedboat where we got to snorkel and then stopped to swim in the amazing pool. After that we arrived at the island and it was one of the most beautiful places I have visited. Food and drinks were nice. We were on the island for approximately 2.5hours which was just enough time. Then we went on a sailboat back which also was great! Lots of fun dancing and watching a beautiful sunset. The bus back was quicker and more convenient since also the waiting time for other participants was removed. All in all a great day and the best experience in Punta Cana. You should know that you spend a lot of time on the boat. Maybe 4-5 hours are on the two different boats in total. But it was amazing and really part of the experience.

You start out on a... - You start out on a motorboat don’t sit at the back unless you want to be soaked. Not a lot of time snorkeling and the natural pool was relaxing. The island is beautiful but be careful there are rocks at the edge of the water once past there it is good. Food is not what you are going for on the trip by the time we got through the line there was no fruit or vegetables left Coming back we had to transfer from a motorboat onto the catermeran which was ok and had a fun time on the way back

Wonderful beach - This is the 2nd time I use this site which is very trustworthy. But yesterday the driver was almost 30 minutes late to pick us up and the ride on the vdd lasted almost 10 hours. The tour is great, the island is wonderful. Looks like a postcard or we're still shooting a movie. I recommend carrying besides towel and protector some snacks to eat on the return on the transfer, as the go and go to the island takes almost 1h. The food served on the island is typical of the region, very simple and tasty. It had salads, cooked vegetables, paella, baked chicken and fruit. Tb drinks were included. It was worth it and I recommend!

Always an option - The island itself was beautiful. Love the catamaran. The food was ok. The team we met was awesome especially Jennifer. My only feedback would be Transportation coordination needs some improvement. The original driver left us at the hotel after we waited over 30 min for him. He told us the wrong location to meet him after I double checked for a second time. Then we had to wait for a second driver to get us after he left us!

Be flexible! - Too many transfers! Not enough beach time. Drinks on island were terrible. Food was so so. The young lady do dance instruction was selective in her customer service catering to Caucasian and Hispanic guests; extremely rude to my 2 friends and I. On the other, Carlos was amazing. The photographers were amazing, friendly and fun. The guy bringing drinks on boat was extremely friendly and pleasant. This excursion was a way to pass time. We had a free day in our itinerary. The weather was beautiful until it rained, so being on the boat in the sun was a great experience. We got a full day for only $65. It was worth it.

The island / boat ride... - The island / boat ride were spectacular, but the tour was much longer than advertised (12 hours instead of 8-9) and the drop off plan was very chaotic/disjointed…there was a lot of transport involved to make it to each place — long bus ride in the morning, walk to a speed boat, then ferry boats to/from the catamaran and another very long bus ride. Lots of travel / confusion for only 2 hours on the island itself. The tour guide was very nice but it was just overall quite disorganized.

Pick up was just on time... - Pick up was just on time but once we got to the boat after making an unnecessary stop at a store for 20 minutes, we had to wait another hour. That boat took us to another catemeran. Enjoyable but unlike advertised they ONLY served rum. Once on the islands we only got to spend 1 hour there before the boat came to take us back to mainland. Totally skipping the natural pools. Then again had to wait about 45 minutes for the bus, which made another 2 random stops are stores on the way back. If you wish to visit soana island I would recommend finding another way to get there unless to spend half the day doing nothing.
