On the Saona Island tour we will visit the natural pool with the speedboat where the finest sand bank is to bathe, have fun with the sea stars, that place is called (Lagun Azul) then we will continue to observe the channel that divides the Saona island with mainland the channel of (Catuano). There we will be in the Caribbean paradise We have lunch on the island and we will return on a catamaran with the party, music and drinks.
Important note: the Saona Island tour is an excursion shared with groups, normally the boat can hold 30 to 45 people and the catamaran, which has a capacity of X, can hold 50 to 60 people due to its capacity, it is not an excursion. VIP that is not all personalized, the VIP is one or 2 even a group with everything alone. But it is a private company excursion.

The most beautiful beach of life - The most beautiful beach I've ever seen! The tour is very worth it, there is no way to describe how beautiful it is! The water is crystal clear, the landscape looks like film and the climate of the place is simply perfect. I'd come back a thousand times!

Saona Island - The beauty of the water & beach of Saona Island is unmatched. I’ve never seen anything like it. Also the catamaran ride to it was so much fun. We had drinks, great music, & the crew was AWESOME!

Fun experience! Friendly crew - Max, Didi and Lou were wonderful to us the whole trip. The beginning will seem a little long to wait to get on the catamaran to go to Saona Island but once you're on the Catamaran and the music starts playing it's a blast! Unfortunately we had a situation on the island with someone unrelated to their business (big emphasis on the fact that they were not an individual related to their business) and the crew in charge of our group took our concerns seriously and apologized even though it really was not their fault. I know the point of the excursion is to visit Saona but I feel like we had a really good amount of time to spend on the beach and relax. The food at the buffet was very good too. There are photographers and they will offer the package to you at the end of the beach visit if you like!

Max is the best - I cannot say enough good things about Max. Not only did we have an excellent tour with him, he also drove from Punta Cana and Samana and back in a day all so my girlfriend and I could be comfortable. He charged us a very reasonable price and is a fantastic guy.

Natural pool was amazing - The tour itself was great, the water was unbelievable. The best part is where the stop at the natural pool and you get to swim there for about 45 minutes. You get to the island and you eat there’s really nothing to do there. There’s a million people coming up to you trying to sell you things. My only issue is with the photos they take which I agreed to of course, they wanted to airdrop them
To me for $20 each or $350 for all the ones they took, after brining the price down to $200 we get back to shore and the photographer looks for someone who can take an Apple Pay payment since I didn’t bring my card, so my husband said ok so we said 200, and he said plus 10 percent, that’s not what we agreed on and he got very upset we had to end up paying that since he had already sent me the photos, come to find out he actually charged my card $240. Not happy about that situation but it’s my fault for allowing them to take the pictures in the first place. Besides that, I would’ve been ok with just going and spending more time at the natural pool, that was the highlight of the trip.

Good experience, diminished by long dead - As other reviews have mentioned, the time spent in transportation increases the trip significantly.
I think a duration of 8 hours would be more appropriate, versus the 10 to 12 you delay queuing at different points along the way.
Although I also do not think it is a problem of the tour operator but more of the type of activity and the massing
But better organization would certainly help more than it would
Also while the photos were not included, I think the price your guide gave you was quite high.
So much so that although I wanted the photos I decided not to get them, it just didn't deserve the cost
On the other hand, while we were in a flow chill, a little guidance and explanation from the guide would have been well received, mainly considering the long journeys

Worthwhile excursion - All in all, the trip was worth it.
The island of Saona and swimming in the turquoise Caribbean Sea is an absolute dream.
Switching from boat to boat was a bit annoying.
The food on the island was okay.
You should not expect too much due to the certainly difficult logistics (no kitchen).
Unfortunately, the beer ran out at lunch. But there was plenty of Rum/Cola, water and other soft drinks.
On the return trip by speedboat unfortunately ran out of fuel, but after about 15 minutes already came supplies.
Since the island seems to be a tourist hotspot, you should not expect to be alone there.
The trip was definitely worth it.

Bof - The positive: the staff and the beauty of the beach
The negative: a lot of people I take them, all the tour operators meet in the same place, to be more than 60 people on the catamaran.

Spring Break No Show - The driver never contacted me about when to be picked up, ignored over 20 phone calls. I was outside of the resort an hour before departure and stayed until after the excursion was supposed to start but my driver simply never showed up. We planned one of our spring break days around this excursion and it was very frustrating to essentially waste a because of a no show.
