• Roatan - This excursion is ideal for families and groups of friends.
  Begin this Mangrove Tunnel ATV adventure with a delightful lunch in Roatan by meeting your excursion guide outside your Roatan cruise terminal (Coxen Hole and Port of Roatan Mahogany Bay). You’ll then board an air-conditioned vehicle and head towards the East End of Roatan island for an exciting Roatan Excursion featuring island exploration, a native boat experience, an ATV ride, and lunch. At this point, you’ll board an authentic Cayuco boat to cruise through tropical mangroves on a canal connecting the harbors and bays. A Cayuco is a rustic, motorized canoe, offering a genuine experience of local daily life. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the banks, including a variety of birds during the Cayuco boat ride.

Round-trip transportation is included in all of our excursions from your cruise ship port at Mahogany Bay or Town Center Coxen Hole cruise ship port, as well as your hotel or Airbnb.

• Roatan ATV and Community Adventure - You’ll board transportation for a 20-minute air-conditioned drive to the ATV excursion base camp to enjoy your ATV 4-wheel ride. The ATVs have automatic transmissions and are easy to drive for both beginners and advanced riders. Your guide will provide a briefing on operation and safety instructions before embarking on a guided adventure. A safety helmet is provided and must be worn at all times. Your ATV shore excursion ride will take you through the lush jungle countryside, where you’ll glimpse the wildlife that calls this island home. Some of the places you’ll visit include Punta Gorda, the Garifuna Village, Isery Restaurant Boat, and more! Enjoy ocean views while driving on dirt roads and over streams. Satisfy your sense of adventure on this hour-and-a-half excursion.
• Roatan - After all the exciting activities, you’ll stop to relax and enjoy a local lunch included in your package. It’s time to head to the restaurant where you can savor fried fish, pork, shrimp, or chicken with sides of plantains, rice, salad, beans, and a soft drink or water.

After these enjoyable activities, you’ll likely feel tired, so we’ll head to one of Roatan’s white sand beaches where you can unwind, relax, or swim in the water.

At this stage, participants will board an authentic Cayuco boat to navigate through tropical mangroves along a canal created to link the harbors and bays. A Cayuco is a traditional, motorized canoe, offering a genuine experience of what locals use in their daily lives. Be sure to watch for wildlife along the banks, including a diverse array of birds. The Cayuco boat ride lasts approximately 1 hour.

Afterward, air-conditioned transportation will be ready to take participants on a 10-minute journey to the Politily Bight Restaurant. This serves as the base camp for the Roatan ATV and Lunch excursion. Participants will be paired with an ATV that matches their skills and weight, and after a brief orientation, they will ride their ATV to a secluded jungle and local community. The Roatan ATV guide will lead a leisurely ride along scenic roads and through the lush rainforest.
