Infinity Found At The Desert’s Edge - When we reached the edge of the White Desert, the horizon looked infinite. It was the first time I felt how small we humans really are. The silence was deep, and the open land just went on. I walked alone for a while, then joined the group again. I didn’t want to leave. Something in me felt lighter afterward.

Fresh Juice And Laughter In El Haize - During a quick break in El Haize, I had the best pomegranate juice I’ve ever tasted. It was freshly squeezed and cold, a total refreshment in the heat. The vendor was kind, and our guide joked with him in Arabic, creating a fun moment we all enjoyed. Small experiences like this made the desert feel alive and welcoming.

Unexpected Art Found In The Farafra Stop - In Farafra, we stopped at a small art center run by locals. The paintings and pottery all reflected desert life in such an honest way. I bought a small piece to take home. It was a quiet stop, not rushed, and gave us a taste of the culture beyond the landscape. These moments helped the desert feel more personal, not just geographical.

Where Lava And Sand Create Desert Art - The contrast between black volcanic stone and golden sand in the Black Desert was simply mesmerizing. It looked like nature had painted the landscape with two brushes. Mohamed explained how lava once flowed here, which gave depth to what we were seeing. The area felt ancient, and walking through it gave me a quiet sense of respect. The desert speaks if you know how to listen.

Definitely recommend - Great trip with Last Minute in Egypt. The food in the village on the way to the dessert was fabulous as was the meal in the evening. We are vegetarian so didn't know if we would get food but we did! Beautiful people and great experience. Worth doing - a highlight of Egypt. It also seemed great that this trip was led by people in the region of the white dessert and local communities. But just an aside that they did smoke a lot so be warned if you are sensitive to cigarettes. We went on a private tour as two friends but it was nice to sit around the campfire in the evening with two couples from Portugal while we heard songs.

A great dessert experience - Trip was very well organized. Guide and his assistant were very friendly and took care about our comfort. The landscapes of the black and especially the white dessert are very fascinating. Compared with other great rock formations for example in the Caspian dessert areas of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan it plays in the same league and has his own unique charme. So this trip with that company is absolutely recommendable and was given us an unforgettable experience. 1000 thanks again to the 2 guys who did this trip with us!

Out of this world!!! - The trip was great, we saw some pretty awesome places… actually the places were out of this world!!! The guides were super friendly and efficient they prepared us a banquet at the dessert which was better than one from a Michelin restaurant. It’s a long drive but it’s worth the visit!!! Great experience to sleep at an amazing place, with a sky filled with stars and the moonlight.
