Travel to Bahariya Oasis

Bahariya Oasis Guide - At 7:00 AM, the tour guide and driver will collect guests from their hotel in Cairo or Giza in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to begin the road trip to Bahariya Oasis. Located approximately 350 km west of Giza, this journey takes about 4 hours. There will be a stop halfway at a cafeteria where guests can use the restrooms and enjoy a coffee. Upon arrival at the Oasis around 11 AM, there will be a coffee break and restroom stop before switching to a 4×4 vehicle to drive 40 km into the desert to visit the Black Desert.

Black Desert - This stunning area features volcanic mountains spread over about 30 km between the White Desert and Bahariya Oasis. Visitors have the opportunity to climb a special mountain located centrally to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire Black Desert protected area.

El Hiez El Bahary Spring - Heiz Village is a simple Bedouin village, with some residents originally from Libya. Before lunch, guests can swim in the hot spring, known for its healing properties that alleviate stress and muscle tension. Afterward, lunch is served. The village hosts a small museum called the Water Museum, which educates visitors on the significance of underground water for desert inhabitants and showcases the tools used by Egyptians for irrigation. This museum provides insights into Bedouin life.

Valley of Agabat - Millions of years ago, this valley was submerged under an ocean, which eventually dried up, creating this remarkable valley with its unique limestone rock formations, including the “Valley of the Moon” with its moon-like rock. Due to its natural features, visitors can enjoy thrilling sandboarding. The adventure continues in the White Desert.

White Desert - After exploring the natural beauty and rock formations of the valley, around 5:30 PM, guests can enjoy the sunset as the team sets up camp. Stargazing is a spectacular experience here. Guests can relax around the fire, chat, and savor a delicious barbecue chicken and simple, tasty dinner.

Bahariya Oasis Guide - At 6 AM, guests can witness a stunning sunrise, followed by breakfast at 7 AM. The journey back to Bahariya Oasis begins with several stops along the way, including Crystal Mountain, where quartzite crystal rocks glisten in the sun, and the old White Desert. Arrival back in Bahariya is expected by 10 AM to prepare for the final journey back to Cairo.

Cairo - At 10 AM or 11 AM, the return journey to Cairo begins, taking approximately 4 hours.
