The Teddyville Museum, as its name implies, is Malaysia’s premier and most extensive collection of Teddy Bears from different countries and time periods, dating back to the early 1900s. From some of the earliest teddy bears ever produced to tiny teddies and even life-sized ones, there’s a teddy for everyone here. Situated on the ground floor of the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Penang, TeddyVille Museum spans 9,000 square feet of delightful, fluffy, furry companions that will captivate the entire family! It is not only a museum that narrates the history of the teddy bear’s origins; the exhibits also highlight and honor the vibrant cultural heritage of Penang. Visitors will enjoy a fully immersive experience, allowing them to touch and feel the historic moment when Sir Francis Light first arrived on the shores of Penang and journey through time to the present day.
