- Jamek Mosque - Jamek Mosque was constructed on the site of an old Malay burial ground at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak Rivers. It was the first large mosque built in Kuala Lumpur, designed by English architect Arthur Benison Hubback in the Indo-Saracenic style, reflecting Indian Muslim Mughal architecture.
