Genting Highlands is a multifaceted hill resort, complete with shopping centers, amusement parks, and casinos. It boasts two distinct cable cars: the Genting Skyway, which held the record as the world’s fastest and South East Asia’s longest gondola lift upon its debut, and the more recent addition, the Awana Skyway. The First World Plaza’s Indoor theme park, situated in the plaza, has since shut down.
