Highlights

Don’t miss this exciting journey that will take you through the magnificent town of Basseterre, the capital of the best exotic island of St. Kitts.

This adventure offers a chance not only to visit some of the island’s iconic landmarks like the Caribelle Batik, known for its absolutely stunning gardens and historical memorabilia, but to experience authentic Kittitian lifestyle at its best.

We begin our tour with an air conditioned drive through historical Basseterre viewing old fort ruins, majestic church buildings and beautiful Independence Square.
We continue westwards, passing the egrets nesting site, a bird watcher’s dream, and on to Bloody Point.

Caribelle Batik, an old plantation house lovingly restored by its current owners will be our next stop. For 45 minutes, see the Lipstick Tree, Ginger Lilies and other flora and fauna found exclusively in this location, and then take a 15 minute stroll through the lush, verdant Rain Forest. Come see and experience nature! The green monkey and a variety of other birds and animals awaits you.

The tour continues with a 45-minute stop at the internationally renowned Brimstone Hill National Fortress which dates back to the eighteenth century but has been kept in pristine condition.

From there it’s off to Black Rocks where igneous rocks formed from the 2,000 year old Mount Liamigua volcanic eruption stands out in majestic splendor in the Atlantic Ocean. Then take an idyllic drive through the easterly countryside of Saddlers, Tabernacle, Cayon and Conaree until you return to the cruise terminal at Port Zante.

Tour guide was outstanding! - Dujan was an amazing tour guide and was extremely helpful and friendly. He was very accomodating to all of our requests. He even picked us up as a taxi another day and gave us fresh mangos as a thank you. Would absolutely recommend for anyone.

Gorgeous Views - Our guide Dujohn(sp?) and his wife, Jocilynn, were exceptional tour guides. We explored the island a bit years ago but were able to see so much more on this trip as Dujohn let us decide on a few stops. You should opt to go to the fort as this is where you will have some of the best views and photos! Book this tour with Dujohn and you will not be disappointed.

Great Tour would recommend to anyone - This was a great tour. My wife and I were the only two on the tour and the operator customized the tour to meet our needs, so we could see exactly what we wanted. Unlike most tours we were able to spend as much time as we wanted in each location. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone going to St. Kitts

Great tour - Thoroughly enjoyed this whole tour. Our guide/owner from VJ Tours was very friendly & informative about the area. Told us a lot about the history of St. Kitts and we saw & learned things we didn't get to see before. Even though it was just my husband & myself she was on time (even before we got to the meeting point) Would travel with her again anytime.

She's awesome. - Verona was our guide and she was great. She hit up every place I had on my list with plenty of time to have a beach break. She timed every stop so we could manage to get it all in. She knows the island very well. Its a long way around the island so be ready for a ride. I will def use her again on my next port stop. Thanks Verona.

V&J Tour - Our driver Verona was extremely knowledgeable of all of the island's attractions and history. Her van was comfortable & extremely clean. We saw sights with her that were not covered by the train tour. The rain forest, churches, forts and more were enjoyable. We even got a close up of the black beaches along with the history of the slave trade and exactly where the ships landed. We also toured a very special church where we learned the history of the pastor who wrote Amazing Grace in 1776. I highly recommend her services for anyone going to St Kitts.

The trip was excellent. Better than... -
The trip was excellent. Better than the ship trips. The guide was very nice and took us all around the island. Never fully understood why we did not go to the batik factory. She went to busy places early in the morning so we avoided the crowds. Very knowledgeable and clearly spoken English.

Guided Tours Are a Waste - If you are planning a trip to St Kitts, touring the island is a must, but the professional tours are a waste of time and money. The van in whcih we toured had small, dirty windows. We could not see out of the van at buildings or tall monuments. What was worse, the driver breezed by land marks and buildings and before we could look out, we were gone. TIP: Hire a taxi to take you on a tour of the island. Executive Taxi run by Raphael Jacob provided an excellent experience. The dirivers were knowledgeable and stopped for as long as you liked to get out and take pictures.
