Amazing Day seeing Lucerne and Interlaken!!! - We took this tour with 4 couples during our European vacation and it was terrific!!! The train was amazingly comfortable (we highly recommend the cafe car on the train), our guide was professional, knowledgeable, very attentive, and a joy to spend the day with, and the sights we were able to see were outstanding! We enjoyed the day immensely! Thank you to our guide Juliana for making it a wonderful experience!!!! We highly recommend this excursion and if you can have our same guide, even better!!!

Great way to see beautiful Switzerland! - Our day was just perfect! We would highly recommend Petra, our guide. She was great- very knowledgeable and made the whole day interesting and fun. She was prompt, pleasant and answered our many questions along the way. The weather was perfect for outside walks in both Lucerne and Interlaken. Petra went at a pace which was easy for us 70-year olds to handle. She even helped us get on the right tram at the end of the day. Request Petra- you won’t be disappointed!

Great Experience to see the Countryside! - We did this as a day trip because we were staying in Basel for just a few days. This was a fantastic experience to see the countryside and other parts of Switzerland. There is quite a bit of walking, which I enjoyed however some in the group had a difficult time. Additionally, there isnt a ton of free time to shop or experience the small towns.
Overall,, a great experience to learn more about Switzerland, highly recommend!

Great tour Lucerne to Interlaken. - This was a fabulous tour. A very full day. Our guide Juliana was amazing. We had a full 2+ hours of walking tour in, Lucerne and another hour in Interlaken, which was a bit difficult for some of the older people in our group, but well worth it. We enjoyed it tremendously.

Wonderful tour! - Our guide, Gabriel, was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and gave us some great walking tours of Lucern and Interlaken. He was really friendly and chatted with everyone in the group and made sure everyone was keeping up. The scenery itself was so beautiful. We really enjoyed getting to see Switzerland’s landscapes and towns. It was something we will never forget.

Magic trains trains - We booked this tour as a last minute option and it came as a very positive surprise. John was very well prepared always coming up with some facts and interesting histories. Lucerne and Interlaken tours were very nice and light. And the trains, oh the trains .. they were magic!

Could have been better - For the price paid, we expected a premium experience. We were disappointed that part of the panoramic railway was closed for repairs during our visit, meaning part of that leg (which should have been the highlight of the trip) was replaced by a bus. Initially we thought it was bad luck, but it transpired that it had been closed for months and the tour operator knew this at the time we booked, but didn’t tell us. When we complained about this afterwards, the response was along the lines of them not feeling the change was significant enough to warrant mentioning it.
Look at the photos they offer for this trip, the majority are of the panoramic railway section, they know this is the key reason people book, so I’d take with a pinch of salt the response I assume they’ll give on this review about it not being that much of an impact on the day. In my opinion they are deliberately withholding important information to ensure customers aren’t scared away.
Aside from that, the rest of the description was accurate, the trip was well organised, and it ran on time. Gabriel (our host) was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
