Basel City Tour - Michael was an excellent tour guide- he was very knowledgeable and quite engaging. We learned a tremendous amount about the city of Basel. Michael seamlessly modified the tour based on things that we had previously seen. Would highly recommend

Fabulous Basel old town tour - Rahel provided us with a fabulous walking tour of Basel’s old town. Her English was great and her depth of knowledge about the history allowed her to answer our numerous questions which arose from her detailed overview descriptions of the sites which we visited. She also displayed a real concern for her clients and actively accommodated the requirements of our decreased mobility which was of particular importance to us.
We unreservedly recommend engaging Rahel for an excellent experience in Basel.

Overview tour of old town Basel - Michael knows the area well. Since this was our first visit to Basel, we provided little direction to him. Together, we explored much of the old city and used the street car to travel the longest leg of our walking tour. He took us inside major churches and led us by shopping and dining areas. He did a great job!

The experience with Gabriel was wonderful - The visit to Basel was a real wonder.
We took the 2h option and we wanted more.
Gabriel is a born communicator and was able to introduce us from minute one to the life and culture of the city.

Basel City Tour with Tour Guide “France” - France was Extremely knowledgeable and well spoken tour guide. She met us at our downtown hotel and gave us an energetic tour of old town Basel. She highlighted the places to eat, drink and purchase fine chocolate. We also were able to squeeze in a Rhine River crossing on a boat that uses the river current to cross without motor. Fabulous visit to sandstone Church and City Hall. Everyone should ask for France to get an awesome city tour👍😎

“The gladdest moment in human life, me thinks, is a departure into unknown lands.” - Kripa was a true gem !
Her historical, anecdotal, cultural and architectural knowledge was beyond expectations ! Her communication style suited perfectly what we were looking for, and I bet she was a highly socially skilled person, since she was very attentive to what our needs were.
We were thankful for her very personalized walking pace, and her flexibility, as she was able to indicate where to stop for a restroom break.
Discovering Basel around its streets, famous figures, habits, city expansion and architectural pieces was a well-drafted activity. Having our hotel in the old town, we already had seen specific elements of the local culture, but Kripa made us understand in depth the many entangled elements of history.
The meeting point was clear, and everything was set in place for us to meet without any issues. If I could add a recommendation, it would be to let the customer specify another hotel for the meeting point, since there were only a few choices that did not correspond to ours. However, it did not bother us at all to walk 2 mins to our meeting point, and start the tour there :)
Anyhow, we started the day perfectly with our 9am tour ! Time flew with Kripa. Thank you so much !
