Wow!! What a tour! - The tour was amazing! Maggie/Maggy was a brilliant guide! She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and very funny! We were very impressed with the sites we were shown and the information that was relayed! As a small group we found the dedication was tailored to us perfectly. We had as much time as we wanted at the three sites, we didn’t feel rushed and we could investigate and take in as much as we wanted to. I would thoroughly recommend the tour to people of all ages, although some of the access to some of the ruins were tight, low or steep. But you don’t have to go in them to enjoy them and the stories and secrets (that are still being discovered) gave a real flavour to the mysteries of Sardinia! Maggie/Maggy was brilliant!!

"Susanna and the secret of the nuraghi: an unforgettable trip to Barumini" - During our visit to the UNESCO site of Barumini we were deeply impressed by the extraordinary beauty and complexity of the Nuraghe Su Nuraxi, an architectural masterpiece of the Nuragic civilization. The visit was made even more special thanks to our guide Susanna, a passionate and incredibly prepared professional, who accompanied us on a real journey through time.
With great clarity and enthusiasm, Susanna explained not only the structure of the nuraghe and its defensive, residential and symbolic functions, but also transmitted to us the soul of a fascinating and still partly mysterious people. Every detail, every stone came to life through his story: an engaging experience that made us feel part of the story.
The visit continued to Casa Zapata, a modern and well-prepared museum, built over the remains of another nuraghe, the Nuraxi ’e Cresia. Here too we were accompanied DA a trained guide who was able to guide us competently through archaeological finds, multimedia installations and historical testimonies, offering us a complete and suggestive view of the territory.
Barumini is a unique place, but it is thanks to people like Susanna that cultural heritage becomes accessible, understandable and above all exciting. We highly recommend this visit to anyone who wants to discover the deepest roots of Sardinia.

Fascinating tour of Su Nuraxi of Barumini and nearby sites. - Andrea was our guide for a small group tour of Su Nuraxi of Barumini and nearby sites. Barumini is amazing and the tour was fascinating. Andrea is very personable and knowledgable. He pointed out interesting things on the drive north from Cagliari to Barumini, including beautiful murals in a town along the way. He explained what life was like for the peoples of Barumini. I learned there were many invasions and conquests. However, the cultures merged over time. Andrea also identified a number of trees in the area, a particular interest of mine. Overall, it was an excellent day!

Unique ancient places out of town a tour that suited our interests - We visited three incredibly interesting sites with Maggie. She was fun, knowledgeable and made our visit so enriching. Ancient ruins that are still standing strong seem unreal, but these places were built to last. We had a marvelous time and the Drive to the sites was entertaining because our guide figured out early what most interests us and provided a customized tour. Thank you very much.

Pleasant and relaxing experience - This tour is absolutely worth going to. The sites we visited were spectacular. Francesca is very knowledgeable and explained many details that would not have been obvious to a casual observer. And having the travelling included was a big plus - we did not have to make any arrangements, apart from the fact that she is a very careful driver. Totally recommended.

Fantastic trip! - I highly recommend this tour with this operator! It was so exciting to be in antic town, to be inside and to get so deep knowledge about the history of this place. We were in the museum also. I very appreciate our guide for time with me and answering all my questions.

Amazing tour guide and fascinating tour! - Our tour guide Maggie was wonderful. Her willingness to give us a taste of this unique part of Sardinia was unmatched. She was informative, entertaining, interesting, and patient! This was my 9-year-old son's favorite part of our whole trip to Sardinia. This fun adventure had it all for him and for us!
Note that Su Nuraxi is not easy to navigate if you have physical limitations. There were a lot of steps in the archeological site. Part of the tour involved sitting on your butt to slide down four steep stairs in a narrow path. Wear sneakers and pants/shorts you don't mind getting a little dirty!

From a semi-unknown past a fabulous monument - Incredible conservation of such an ancient artifact. In the setting of the plateau that hosts it, this monument leads to an in-depth study of a historical period that is as ancient as it is little investigated and known. The visits are all guided and this makes them safe for tourists and full of news that fuels curiosity. Well maintained site, easily accessible even in the narrowest sections. Not to be missed.
