The tour kicks off at 8:20 AM with a departure to the meeting point, though the timing may vary based on the distance. Once aboard the speedboat, the journey along the river lasts about 40 minutes until reaching the village of Vassouras. During the high-water season, visitors can enjoy swimming in deep lagoons, but the highlight is observing Capuchin monkeys in their natural environment. Following this, the tour returns to the boat and proceeds to the village of Mandacaru, where guests can ascend the Preguiças Lighthouse for a breathtaking panoramic view. The village also offers craft shops, caipirinhas, and locally flavored ice creams, providing opportunities for leisure and cultural immersion. The tour concludes at Caburé Beach, a sandy peninsula flanked by the river on one side and the sea on the other, where lunch is served at one of the beach restaurants, as directed by the pilot.
