Trekking to the Glacier Viewpoint of Caballito and the Turquoise Stream

Cerro Mercedario - Breakfast. A day of trekking to and from the viewpoint of the Caballito Glacier and the Turquoise Stream, with its astonishingly colored water that suddenly springs from a source on the eastern slope of Mercedario. Overnight at CB

Guanaquitos CB (3550 meters above sea level). Balcony of the 6000 - Guanaquitos. **

Cerro Mercedario - A long day to reach the impressive viewpoint known as the Balcony of the Six Thousands (+4800 meters above sea level), from where the Colorado River Valley can be admired, surrounded by glaciers and the highest peaks of the Andes mountain range: Pico Polaco, Alma Negra, La Mesa, La Ramada Sur, La Ramada Norte, and Mercedario. Then, descend back to CB. The rest of the afternoon is free.
**The ascent to the Balcony is only for the group that has confirmed the full expedition, while the Turquoise Stream group enjoys a day of rest and relaxation in the mountains, accompanied by our team with all services included, if applicable.

Laguna Blanca - On this day, we return to Laguna Blanca and then head to Barreal in 4x4 vehicles (arrival around 2 PM). End of services. Optional transfer to San Juan or Mendoza and overnight in Barreal.
