Excellent fun educational art, culture, history walking tour of Barranco - Our walking tour of Barranco with guide Yoced was superb; it became a private tour as we were the only ones signed up. He told interesting stories about the history of Barranco, its longtime generous community spirit, e.g., programs held at the library and its plaza, as well as its devastation by Chilean forces. Yoced also helped us appreciate the beautiful and creative street murals by directing our attention to specific features in the paintings and explaining the artists' intentions. He educated and inspired us so much that we bought a print and t-shirt at the Jade Rivera gallery. Finally, he took a fun video of our crossing the Bridge of Sighs, which turned out to be easy for us even though we're seniors, because of our yoga breathing. Top marks for Yoced and Lima Experience!

Barranco Street Art - Barranco Tour & Street Art was excellent, with great communication before the tour also. Lima Experience was happy to proceed with the tour even though I was the only person - other tour companies have cancelled tours on me within 24 hours!! Gustavo was very knowledgeable & more than happy to stop for all my photos & to take photos of me :) I would definitely recommend this tour!

Gustavo will give you the lowdown! - We loved learning all about the history of Barranco (as well as wider history of Lima and Peru) during the tour. Our guide Gustavo was very friendly, and able to answer all our questions. There was so much context to some of the street art that we never would have known from walking through by ourselves, so it was great to have a guide as knowledgeable as Gustavo! He also took some lovely photos of us at key spots. I'd highly recommend this tour!

We even went to the Larco Museum, very excellent, he explained how the different societies evolved and finally to Inca. - Joseph (Yoced) did a wonderful job, very knowledgeable about the area, he had a “lock” for us at the Bridge of sighs, nice gesture.

Excellent tour with Yoced - I had the pleasure of taking a one-person tour of Barranco with Yoced. I had signed up for a group tour but I was the only one who showed. I speak both English and Spanish so he offered to do the tour in either and I wanted some Spanish practice anyway so we had a lovely conversation walking through the murals of the Barranco district. He also gave me a great restaurant suggestion for lunch. Highly recommend

Colorful Barranco Walking Tour is a hit with us. - Joseph was our guide to a small group walking tour of Street Art in the Barranco district. It was great to have Joseph explain the history and significance of many of the colorful street murals. We especially loved the work of artist, Jade Rivera. It’s amazing that simply naming a bridge, the Bridge of Sighs, you can give it a romantic and creative character. We are professional musicians and my sister is a visual artist. We were happy to visit a district that honors and respects artists for the contributions that they make to society.

See art but also learn the context, back story, and history. - Really enjoyed today's tour with Arturo. He provided so much insight and history into what we saw. For example he explained the Jade Rivera mural (which is in 2 sections) that I would never had figured out on my own. Also helped to connect the dots of Peru history with Chile and Barranco's place in that history. Just gave the history and back story of everything that we saw. Talked a bit about his travels to other parts of Peru and life in general. Highly recommend!
