Great idea for tourism - Cecilia is adorable (guide) and the tour was enough. 2 hours of discovery of the city.
A little microphone for my dad's ears would have been nice. The bikes are great.

Pleasant and fun trip with good guide. - A really nice bike ride in the streets of Bari. Our guide Aldo, was a young man, very charming and humorous. And very knowledgeable. Talked fine English. We enjoy the trip.

Bari is beautiful but not for bicycles - Let me start by saying that the staff at Velo Service is very friendly and helpful. Our bikes were in good order. If I were in the market for renting from them, I would not hesitate.
The issue is that there are some places well suited to bicycle tours, and others not so much. In my opinion, my wife's, and a couple others on the tour, this is the case with Bari. First, the tour takes you through the "new" Bari which is overrun with cars. Then there was a ride out to the beach area and back which, again, is a road crowded with cars. I'm not sure what the point of that was. Then, the rest of the tour was in the old city. There, you'll spend most of your time dodging pedestrians who pay no heed to anything.
Our guide was friendly enough, but there were some logistical issues keeping the group together. It wasn't clear what we were supposed to do if part of the group got caught at a light. She just kept going. Sometimes she was saying something into her clip-on PA, but only the first two or three people in line had any chance of hearing her.
So I like the folks, but in this setting, this was not a relaxing ride or an informative experience.
