Lovely day despite the rain! - We booked the self guided tour from Bari to go to Matera and Alberobello. We had free time in both locations. 3h in Matera and 2h in Alberobello. This tour is like having a uber driver. Driver picks you up and drops you off. In this tour we were 6 of us. It was very nice. The driver was very nice and attentive. He was on time (before the time) each time. A shame that today the weather was not good. It rains in Alberobello so couldn’t enjoy fully the sightseeing. But even if it was grey and raining we had a good time exploring. Matera is really really nice. If you like old and ancient architecture. The playlist in the car should be more uplifting though. It didn’t help with the grey weather :p. The music was a bit depressing (classical dramatical playlist). But that was only my taste. I would recommend this tour.

Matera….so special, so rare - Matera is beyond a wonderful experience. And have no fear, if the many steps are not for you, there are flat roads to take you around the old village to see everything. Matera is a must visit while in Italy .

Great way to get out to Matera and Alberobello! - We loved that we could get into a tour from Polignano a’ mare, as many begin in Bari only. The guide was great as far as getting us to and from our meeting points and the bus, giving restaurant recommendations and little bits of history. We like being able to go out, explore and learn on our own so having a guided tour wasn’t our top priority. Lots of walking, and/or hiking, so wearing good shoes is important! This tour would be difficult to do if you’re walking impaired in any way, not in good physical shape or have significant health issues.

Coach trip from Polignano a Mare - We took the self guided option & wandered at our own pace. Great trip, right amount of time spent in each place . Comfortable coach journey Great to have option of pick up / drop off off in Polignano- bus stop just behind the train station. Excellent way to get to know the basics of both cities. Recommend wearing sensible , comfortable shoes :)

super comfortable +... - super comfortable + efficient day. grace was super friendly & gave us some great recommendations for where to go once in matera + alberobello. highly recommend for those who want to visit both places. we chose the self guided option + it was perfect especially if you want to see things on your own time. definitely recommend bringing an umbrella as the weather can turn ugly pretty fast. but aside from that, the day was great. also, a shoutout to our bus driver who had to pull over on the way back because we lost a piece of the bus in the hail + rain. we were back on the road before we knew it. can’t recommend this tour enough. thank you grace!

To flee absolutely! - I booked via Get Your Guude a day trip to Alberobello and Matera with this company, initially for December 24th. I was contacted by WhatsApp to change my trip to December 20, when I was not yet in Italy. The company accepted the date of December 23. The day before the excursion in the early afternoon, I am told that it may be cancelled and finally confirm to me in the late afternoon that it will not take place and that I cannot book with another provider. Total disregard for customers and obvious bad faith: it was never stated at the time of booking that a minimum number of participants was required (if this is the case, it is always very clearly stated on Get Your Guide). Moreover, this agency does not even have the courage to face up to its actions: it invoked weather reasons with Get Your Guide which is totally false. I hope this provider will be removed from the platform.

Bad experience... - But why do you have to organize sightseeing trips to the detriment of your customers??? Meeting points too far... not good. I found a lot of arrogance and character very cold... I recommend putting more polite and not grumpy staff... not good, never again.
