A fun evening food and wine tour - Our tour guide Lila was great, she was interesting and entertaining and she took us to great spots for food and drink. Our tour started at 7pm in the old town of Barcelona. On our first stop we sat down to two different types of paellas, one was made with squid ink. However, at this stop there were also other tapas that were less exotic and still quite tasty. On the second stop we had mussels, tortilla and the small fried peppers called pimentos de padrone. On our last stop Lila showed us how to make sangria. The nice thing about this tour was that it was a great way to meet people. Very shortly after meeting we were all chatting and getting along as though we were already friends. There was no shortage of either food nor drinks and we were never bored. We learned a lot about Barcelona. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Fun food and drink tour of Barce - We had a lot of fun during the food and wine tour. We enjoyed our walk through Barcelona’s Gothic section and learning about the history of the royal square. We had four outstanding door stops with a variety of interesting foods and drinks. Our favorites included squid ink paella, deep fried zucchini, and a delicious shrimp dish among others. We enjoyed our final stop that included sangria and more laughter among our fun group. Andrew was an engaging guide and we enjoyed his tour insights to the history of the area and food.

Fun with friends for a one off experience - The host was nice and friendly. The food was average. The first venue was plenty of food and wine but only a 30 minute stop. The second place was just eating salty whitebait in a bag in the street but nice if you like whitebait. The third venue was a family run place so one glass of wine and similar food to the first venue. The fourth place was very friendly, limited sangria as after one jug you had to pay for more. The host did stop and explain some of the local historical points on route, that was nice. It was average for the money, glad we went and fun but wouldn't do it again.

Just average. Food and drink but no program. - I took the same type of tour in Madrid and it was wonderful. This tour was a bit disorganized. We met at one bar but didn't drink there. Instead, we trekked a while to a different bar. We didn't get any history or insight into the culture. Just random food and drinks. Luckily, we had a wonderful group and had fun on our own.
