Semi Private tour Sagrada Familia - Our family of four with two teenagers did a semi private two hour morning tour of Sagrada Família, and it was outstanding. Going early meant fewer crowds and a much calmer experience. Valentina was wonderful! The tour covered both the outside and inside with clear explanations of the architecture, religion, and symbolism. The guide helped us understand how the façades tell different parts of the Christian story and how the light, columns, and design inside all work together. The small group made it easy to ask questions and stay engaged. Our teens were interested the entire time. We left feeling like we truly understood what makes the Sagrada Familia so special. Highly recommended for families.

Amazing tour with Valentina! - Valentina was amazing! She was very passionate about sagrada Familia, the architecture and Guadi and it came through in her tour. She was very knowledgeable and made everything very interesting. She was also great about answering questions and also taking pictures of the group. She knew all the great spots. She was a pleasure we also had a second tour with her right after this one at Park Guell and she shared a taxi with us and was a lot of fun during the second tour as well. We would highly recommend her as your tour guide.

LivTours business model delivers superior results for quality tours and easy planning and participation - The small group concept along with very high quality, knowledgeable, personable guides is a winning concept. This time, my tour was of Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona. This site is overlaid with religion, improvement of civic life, world class and timeless architectural innovation and challenge, requiring all of these layers of knowledge. Marc effectively shared his deep and detailed knowledge of the building, of the religious symbolism and distinctions from this presentation of the life of Jesus versus the more common, and still grand, depictions in so many of the most famous cathedrals and basilicas across Southern Europe. This Basilica has a far more joyful, clever, multilayered presentation, embedded in every centimeter, kilogram, pillar, window, sculpture than any of the 30 I'd seen in the last 5 months and the several hundred I've seen in the past 5 decades. Is it the most beautiful or artistic? No. Is it the most interesting, the most original, the most thoughtful? Yes. Unlike most, this facade and sanctuary do not rely on blood, statues, and suffering as primary tools of communication, but instead on architectural messages, stories told subtly through unexpected sculpture, through the materials and building methods--and a closeness with nature. To bring this out to the visitor takes a great depth of knowledge, great skill at explaining, and the ability to toggle between legend, myth, biblical beliefs, and what the building says to believers and non-believers through worldly materials, design and sophisticated, rather than simple, art. Marc was able to bring all of this to my awareness by his dedication to helping people understand the genius of Gaudi and the subtlety and challenge in every aspect of the building and its making. Finally, the small group format led to flexibility, efficiency, and the communications from this tour company were simple and effective. These traits of simplicity, flexibility, and conveyance of large amounts of knowledge are swallowed up in the tours of many companies that now use technology to serve giant groups that are forced to dash from one feature or building to another, often exhausting or confusing some of the clients and allowing only some basic information and anecdotes to be absorbed. Go with LivTours. They have the formula and quality that works.

Perfect tour, perfect guide - Both our guide and tour were amazing. With so many sights to see in Barcelona and Sagrada Familia in demand, this small group highlights tour was ideal. Our guide, Valentina was superb her knowledge not only of the basilica but also Spain history was integral to the info she shared. It’s so much to take in-but Valentina was excellent with consolidating information, allowing us time to just stand & stare in awe, and she was adept at keeping us moving all at the same time! A standout professional tour guide

Amazing! Valentina was acceptionally knowledgable and a very enthusiastic trip leader/guide. Great personality to boot. - Valentina was knowledgable, professional, patient, very skilled at doing guided tours and excited about her work. She was on time. She was a great leader and a joy to tour with. She has a wealth of information that I found very interesting, and not just the usual things that are commonly known. The equipment she used to allow her voice to be transmitted to each of us was also better and more comfortable than others I’ve experienced. I would definitely recommend her and Liv Tours.
