Roman Ruins - Small group tour. We were lucky that it was just our party. We visited the Tarragona aqueduct outside the town and various Roman sites within the town, which were fascinating. Guide Sergei was friendly and informative. Much easier on the tour and more informative than taking public transport, particularly to the aqueduct, which was impressive.

Luiz in Tarragona - Being in Catalonia is worth a stop in Tarragona. City with a beautiful coastline on the shores of the Mediterranean, features Roman ruins in good state of conservation - highlight for the amphitheatre. Good offer of restaurants.

Fun - Both place’s were great but Tarragona was better than expected. I found the city very interesting. The guide did an excellent job explaining the most important about it.

Stop in Tarragona and visit Barcelona one hour by train - We loved stopping in Tarragona 3 nights and from there visit Barcelona. Tarragona is very quiet, has very nice beaches. We arrived from Madrid by high-speed train, that station is in the upper part of the city. We got an excellent airbnb and very good prices, 2 blocks from the sea. To Barcelona we went on the common train, (there are 2 different train stations in Tarragona) that we had 10 minutes from our accommodation. There are collective lines to tour the city. The area is very safe. The Roman amphitheater of Tarragona is very cute, it is in the middle of town and close to the sea. The Ferraras Aqueduct, Devil's Bridge, is very good, but on the outskirts, you can get there by taking a bus from the terminal. The weather in late March was very nice, but not for beach days. We really liked Barcelona and we loved stopping in beautiful and quiet Tarragona.

Excellent Tour!! - This was a wonderful experience! Our guide, Rod, was fantastic. He was funny, informative, and very attentive to the needs of the older travelers in the group. Tarragona and Sitges are both absolutely beautiful. We loved getting out of Barcelona and just enjoying some beach time and soaking up some great history. We highly recommend this tour and especially our guide. He made the trip extra enjoyable!
