Wonderful Food Tour - Krisztina led a wonderful food tour. She met us promptly at the scheduled meeting location and time. We visited multiple locations for both food and drink. It was a great introduction to Spanish food and we had several dishes that I wouldn’t have tried on my own which were excellent. Come hungry because you will be satisfyingly full at the end of the tour.

Great food tour and more! - Maria really showed her passion for food, Barcelona and Catalán. I asked her to speak to me in Spanish because I need more practice in listening and understanding. She was very easy to understand. She spoke clearly and at a good pace. She took me to the best places and we had lots of dishes I wouldn’t have known to order on my own. Maria also explained a lot of historical things like places, culture and politics. She found an event that was happening and encouraged me to go. It was a Spring Castellers performance. I was able to go a few days later and it was the highlight of my trip. This was such a great tour and I felt like Maria was my friend.

Highly recommend - Our guide (Elvira) was very good. We asked to do a more historic tour of Barcelona after going to the first market as it was too early to start eating for us. She accommodated and showed us around other places. She also gave us good recommendations for other places for dinner and other must “eats”

Great Markets Food Tour with Elvira - The food tour with Elvira was one of the highlights of our family trip to Barcelona! We explored two traditional markets and La Bocadaria on La Rambla. Elvira explained the history of the markets to Barcelona and the continuing importance of these markets today. At the first market, Elvira walked us past a number of different stalls—explaining a variety of local dishes and encouraging us to pick out samples to try. Along the way, Elvira explained a lot about Catalan traditions and how these may differ from other parts of the country. We sat and enjoyed several dishes at a tapas bar in the market. The food was absolutely incredible! We took a walk through La Bocadaria on La Rambla and then on to another local market on the other side of the Cathedral of Barcelona. Similar to the first market, we wandered past several stalls and then settled in at Bar Joan to try a bunch of different dishes. Elvira was sure to pick dishes based on our tastes and interests and was eager to hear about whether we liked them or not. Elvira is passionate about her culture and Barcelona. It was wonderful to spend the day with her exploring the markets and trying new foods that as visitors we would have never thought to try. Elvira made exploring new foods easy and fun! We look forward to visiting Barcelona again and would absolutely take another tour with Elvira!

A taste of real Catalunya - Elvira was a fantastic guide for our food-tasting experience at some of the local markets. At each place we stopped she helped us select traditional Catalan foods to try and explained their history and significance with clear passion for her native country. We had lots to choose from and no strong preferences or aversions so we let Elvira do most of the choosing. I was impressed with she managed to quickly find space for us to sit for counter service at each place we visited despite it being busy lunchtime at clearly popular venues. Although it was a rainy day we enjoyed walking though the Raval and Gotic neighborhoods and most of the tour was indoors under covered markets. The food was delicious and Elvira shared recommendations for other places to explore in the city. We left very full and had to take some of our desserts in take-away bags!

Book now, you won’t be disappointed! - We had an amazing tour with Elvira! We did the 10 tasting market tour but also got some history and highlights of Barcelona. Elvira was great at explaining the history of the markets and the neighborhoods we visited. She also quickly learned what we liked and didn’t like. She has us trying authentic and local bites that we would most likely not order on our own. She went above and beyond and sent us a list of everything we ate plus recommendations of what to try and where to go. We ate at one of her recommended restaurants and had amazing food.

Wonderful Experience! - The enthusiastic, vibrant energy, and knowledge of Elvira made this tour awesome. Our tour was very organized, and what we appreciated was the ton of info of the locals- where they eat, shop, their history, what tourist- trap places to avoid, all the info of must see, eat, and do while in Barcelona, and more. All the food and drinks we had were all so goooddd!! We appreciated her so much. Thank you Elvira. We’ll always remember you!

Excellent adjusted tour with Bianca - Last month we were very fortunate to take a market tour with Bianca. Due to some issues (ours - not hers) she kindly adjusted the tour. I think we had a better time on our adjusted tour than we would have on our original market tour! Bianca was lovely to spend time with and went out of her way to share her favorite experiences and restaurants in Barcelona. I would definitely recommend booking a tour with her to enhance your visit to this wonderful city.

Food Market Tour - Great way to understand the history of a few of the different food markets and parts of the city, but not a ton of eating compared to other food tours we have done. It was more like the occasional bite in the food market. Moises our guide was one of the best tour guides we have had in our travels around the world. He gave us a ton of tips on restaurants and bars to check out after the tour which was also helpful. We ended up going to a number of these recommendations. Would I do this again, probably not but tour guides like Moises help raise the level of experiences like this one.
