Montserrat a Must do!! - This is an Amazing place to visit and a must do if you are in Barcelona.
Luckily we were able to upgrade our ticket to include hearing the Boys Choir sing and enter the Museum thanks to the help of our beautiful tour guide Alma. Hearing the choir is a MUST so make sure you get a tour that includes this.

Relaxing day trip from Barcelona - It was a comfortable bus ride to and from Montseratt. The guide Marylina and the driver were very nice. Marylina took care to provide our group with needed logistical details and gave us good info on the history too. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Do this tour! - If you have a 3 days in Barcelona treat yourself to a tour of Montserrat! It is otherworldly and so unexpected from the city. The tour is suited for all, with hikes or trams. The Black Madonna can be viewed from the Basilica tour unless you have a need to see it very close. The stained glass, lighting, statues, stonework…are sights to behold. The half day was plenty of time to enjoy Montserrat.

Awesome Hikes! - This place is overpriced but costs aside the setting is awe-inspiring and spectacular. You can hike to St Michael's cross which is free and offers spectacular views and took my wife and I 30 minutes. If you want to further you can hike up to St Joan's. Add another 30 minutes.

Extra activities during free time - The departure time of 9am is great, giving enough time for foreign tourists to navigate their way to the meeting point. However, the 4-hour free time seems excessive without extra activities. Viator should provide information on worthy activities for participants to consider, for instance, taking tram up to the top of the mountain, clear route to St Michael Cross, visit to the basilica, museum etc, including the time and amount expected to spend on such activities. In addition, the booking page should indicate the expected time to be back at the meeting point. This is important for participants to plan their follow-on programme or events such as catching a plane.

Definitely worth going once - It's a long road to get there for a short'ish visit but definitely worth going once! We loved seeing the sights up there, and the art museum was fantastic! We were quite happy we went! We had 2 young ladies as our tour guides because of the size of the group. It's a challenge to manage such a big group and they did a great job! They were also very knowledgeable and pleasant.
