• Abadia de Montserrat - Guests will be picked up at 8:00 am in front of Olivia Plaza Hotel in Barcelona to reach Montserrat early and avoid the crowds and long lines. The journey to Montserrat will be in semi-private, comfortable transportation with a small group, taking approximately an hour. Along the way, travelers will admire the Montserrat mountains, noticing how the roads become narrower and the surroundings greener and fresher. Upon arrival at the top, a guide will lead a walking tour through the monastery, explaining the mountain’s geological formation and the history of the Virgin (Black Madonna). Visitors will explore the Basilica, where they can attend a mass, enjoy the stunning interior design, and visit the unique chapels with the guide. Please note that tickets will be reserved, and the entrance fee will be collected upon tour check-in. Price: 6€.
• Montserrat Mountains - There will be free time to enjoy a coffee at one of the cafeterias or the Montserrat Restaurant, or to stroll around the Basilica and admire the breathtaking views. Alternatively, guests can relax, listen to the birds chirping, and reflect on the passage of time with the Basilica’s chimes.
• Montana de Montserrat - After recharging, the group will head to Montserrat Sant Miquel’s Cross. A pleasant and easy 20-minute trek will take them past a small stone chapel and beautifully crafted saint statues, leading to a stunning observation deck with a large cross in the center. Here, visitors can capture their best photos, taking in the view from the Pyrenees to the Llobregat Delta.
