Good value depending on your plans and days in the city center. - Our experience was very good however we had planned our places for knowing that we need a train travel. However, it was a little inconvenient to find the pick up voucher pick up location from the cruise port. Also keep in mind these vouchers are only for the main part of Barcelona outside. The city does not work.

Lots of flexibility at a fixed price - Purchased at the info point Placa of the Espanya. Activated with first drive and off we went. In conjunction with the app "Citymapper" just great. Very often buses and trains leave and we had no negative experiences in the 4 days. Small downer is the necessity of this card from 4 years. Basically but absolutely recommended and as a means of transportation from our point of view a must in the city. Side note: Travel to/from the airport is included.

It is worth it - When you arrive at the airport, you can buy the card directly at the tourist office, a bit 'carettina compared to other cities, but I recommend it! We quietly toured the city with the help of Google maps by metro bus and to go to the airport, directly by train from the city center. We bought 3 tickets for adults and 1 child 11 years old tot 110 euros for 3 days. The card will be activated the first time you use it, remember every time you get on the vehicles to obliterate all the tickets! You will have to insert the ticket (because there are 2 types of reader, one leans and the other inserts, the card must be inserted, if you pass it on the reader by mistake it could happen as we had to call the assistance because he no longer read the ticket, but waiting 5 minutes you can repeat the operation without problems, excellent assistance that in 5 minutes arrived at us in the subway!

Useful but not Essential - The card was really easy to use on buses and metros so made boarding easy. However, I got a 48 hour card but didn't need to use public transport enough in that time to actually spend as much as I had paid for on the ticket. Travel is very cheap so you'd have to be doing a lot of journeys and no walking around sightseeing. Secondly, it was awkward finding a tourist information office to change the voucher for the Hola card. I tried for a while to find the TI office advertised in the Sants Railway Station as I wanted to use the travel card for my onward journey, but apparently it's closed down. I next went to the one near Barcelona Cathedral but they closed at 2.30pm - I was really lucky that the nice girl was still there and took pity on me and fulfilled by voucher even though they were officially shut.

Not valid for night buses - This card is not valid for the night buses which are active after 10 pm. So you should consider this, because they are not mentioning it clearly in their website or on the card. They are publicly advertising like it is valid for all transport options.

It's frustrating that the card doesn't work. - Hello everyone, I booked and paid for the card directly with the provider on May 18, 2026, and the next day I arrived and couldn't use the card because my data wasn't on it. Now I'm frustrated, and no one is responsible and keeps forwarding me. The provider ruined my day. For me, never again paying in advance over the internet. I had a very bad experience. BEST REGARDS, Petar

Don't bother! it's a rip off - I'ts a rip off! I bought it at the Metro station in Barcelona Airport. The woman who sold it to me told me correctly that it was not valid on the RENFE/RODIALES train network only for the Metro but that was not relevant as the RENFE train did not go to my destination (arch de triomph) in central Barcelona. that's not true! The overground train does connect the airport with/ central Barcelona and it is a faster journey than the metro. It was not valid on some of the buses although I was told it was unlimited and valid for all public transport. I bought a 5 day pass and after 3 days it stopped working going through the turnstiles on the metro as it was "bent" out of shape, a flimsy bit of card that I had kept well protected in my wallet. Use the T mobilitat pass, it's much more efficient and much cheaper. Also for all of April and May until at least 8 May (may be extended)they are giving out FREE 10 journey tickets for the Renfe/Rodiales overground train network as an apology for previous problems with those trains.

Never buy a ticket on hola Barcelona only dummies - I did not receive a voucher. 3/4h at the airport to find a solution. An incompetent counter gives you a phone number that's useless. You have to go back through the site and make a claim All incompetent

Think hard if you need it - I bought card x 3 days, thinking I had everything included as written on their website... but the train slightly outside Barcelona ( 20 min ) is not included. I read on the Montjuic cable car site, but it doesn't include the zip line. My dissatisfaction or complaint does not concern the service, but what is indicated that is included in the price... which is not explicitly clear (perhaps deliberately).
