- Costa Brava - Upon arrival, participants will change into swimwear, gather all necessary gear, and receive a safety briefing along with a quick introduction to kayaking. Then, they will embark on an exciting 3-hour kayaking adventure on the sea. There will be opportunities to snorkel, explore caves and coves, and listen to fascinating tales and stories about the area and the surrounding natural world.
The coastline is stunning, and the guide will take plenty of photos for participants to enjoy at no cost. A locally sourced picnic lunch and water are included in the tour.
After the tour, there will be about 3 hours to relax on the beach before heading back to the city, arriving around 8 pm.

We leave the meeting point at 10am, cannot wait for late arrivals and are unable to offer refunds if you miss your tour. So please be on time :)

Adventure, laughter, a new love for Kayaking - This was to be our last day in Barcelona, so we wanted to get out of the city. We decided to look for something in Costa Brava and found “COSTA BRAVA DAY ADVENTURE: KAYAK, SNORKEL & CLIFF JUMP WITH LUNCH.” My girlfriend was apprehensive because two of those three activities (kayak and snorkel) gave her anxiety (understatement), but she’s a trooper. We strive to step out of our comfort zones, so we went for it. With close to 3,900 5-star reviews, this has to be a good thing.
We met our guide (and new friend Tim) at the pick-up point and drove in a van for about an hour to a beautiful cove in Costa Brava. Time flew by because Time entertained us with stories and trivia during the drive. He’s so personable and funny. We got fitted for wet suits, got a quick lesson in the do’s and don’ts of kayaking, and off we went. The weather was perfect. Water was nice and cool, the wetsuits kept us warm. Tim had us racing each other, splashing other kayakers, playing with sea urchins, listening to scary stories, cliff jumping, cave exploring, lunching on rocks by the sea, and snorkeling to find colorful fish and octopus. It was a fantastic day, and every activity was just at the right pace. We could tell he tailored the difficulty level by the capabilities of his group. We can't say enough about Tim. He was smart and funny and got everyone involved, comfortable and feeling safe. There was one couple who couldn’t keep up with the kayaking, and he roped them up to his kayak and pulled them along so the rest of us didn’t have to wait and they felt safe as well since they capsized early on! Tim was so capable and good at his job that my girlfriend who hated kayaking (her previous experience was traumatizing) and feared snorkeling ( she nearly drowned) immediately stated that she now loves both activities and will do it again (and again).
After kayaking was done, we had a couple hours to explore Costa Brava, but we decided to stop at a local restaurant to have coffee, tapas, beer and cava with Tim. We made a new friend. Tim's personality, skill, wit, sense of humor, sassiness — plus the activities, the scenery, the beach, the weather, the people — what a fabulous combination. This was the best adventure we’ve ever booked on Viator.
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR — Make sure you ask for TIM!!!! We mean it.

5 Star awesome trip! - Had an amazing time. Tim was a fantastic guide. Made everyone feel included. Our group was a family of 4 and 3 solo travelers with different experience levels. Tim did a great job to ensure everyone had a great time.

Amazing tour with amazing guide! - First of all, let me give a BIG shoutout to our tour guide Ola! He was a true proffesional, leading the group with great humour and amazing vibes!
We got picked up in the city, in a minivan, being drived to Costa Brava. This was great way to warm up to the day and getting to know the rest of the people on the tour. Between the kayaking, snorkling, cliff jumping and even the lunch, this was one of the best tours I have been on. On top of this, the guide is taking pictures and videos during the tour, which came included with no extra charge. Hugely reccomended!!

Perfect fun filled day out in Costa Brava! - Great day out in Costa Brava. Tim our guide really good, funny and entertaining throughout. The activities itself were amazing. Tim made these extra special with knowledge, humour and banter. I’d recommend this tour and guide fully.

Lunch with a View - My wife and I did several excursions during our visit to Barcelona, and this was our favorite. Tim made the tour enjoyable for all. The sights during the kayaking were unparalleled and the snorkeling and cliff diving were new challenges for us, faced and conquered. Lunch (on the rock outcrop) was unexpected and provided the best lunch views of our trip. We would highly recommend this tour with Tim for anyone looking for an adventure.

Beautiful nature and pefect water + super friendly Guide Tim - It was really nice. Tim was the best tour guide ever. Super nice and always a funny story to tell. I would recommwnd it to everyone. And dont worry it is not as physical as you might think.

Excursion with guide Ola - We carried out our excursion with the guide Ola and this was really a unique experience. There were beautiful pictures taken, we also jumped off the cliff, saw a picturesque underwater world and discovered the coast including caves we will and always remember this trip back

An Adventurous Day in Mediterranean Sea - Wonderful experience full with lots of adventurous activities. Kayaking and Cliff Jumping are the show stoppers during this trip. Our guide,OLA was an experienced kayaking guide. He ensured to show us breathtaking views, corals, caves in the Mediterranean Sea. Lunch was super delicious.

Perfect trip...perfect company. - The day-long trip away from the city was just what we needed. Tim (our guide) was awesome, friendly, and adjusted plans based on group abilities and interests.
Tim arranged the perfect temperature of sand, wildlife, and water conditions beyond perfect for snorkeling. ;) AND was the most capable guide to assist those who rolled our kayaks get back into our boats (definitely easier said than done!). We could not have asked for a better person to show us the area.

Great Tour But Could Use Some Improvements - We booked a kayaking, cliff jumping, and beach excursion with our family and had a fantastic time overall. The two tour guides really made the experience! They were engaging, funny, and extremely helpful throughout the day, which kept the energy fun and relaxed. The kayaking was beautiful, and the cliff jumping was a highlight for our group.
That said, there were a couple of downsides. The lunch that was provided was awful. Just a stale hero with a bit of meat and some untasty spread. Some of us didn't bother eating it, even though we were famished after kayaking and swimming. It definitely didn’t match the quality of the rest of the trip.
Secondly, when we stopped to see the sea urchins, we parked our kayaks in a cove where the water was filled with debris and trash that had accumulated there. It didn’t feel comfortable walking in that dirty and trash-filled water, which took away from what could have been a really cool moment.
All in all, it was still a memorable family adventure thanks to the guides and the activities, but with a few improvements, especially around the food and the choice of parking spots, this tour could easily be five stars.
